Oh, I Love Disney!

Post by Humphrey Williams on Mon Jan 23, 2012 1:10 pm

Oh, I love Disney!

Granted! But sadly the tragic Disney endings are real too.

I wish I was a Dragon Rider, like the ones in the Inheritance Cycle.

Granted, but your dragon eats you.

I wish there was chocolate chip ice cream available where I am right now.

Cookie Monster

Post by Humphrey Williams on Mon Jan 23, 2012 4:54 pm

All this cookie talk is making me want to put on my cookie monster shirt (yes I have one), go bake cookies, and then eat them all!

Granted! But the ice cream ends up having trace amounts of poison in it.

I wish I was the author of an amazing fantasy series.

Death by ice cream, possibly one o the best ways to go!

Granted, but like must amazing fantasy authors, ninety percent of the people in the world don't even know you or your work exists.

I wish my skin wasn't so damn sensitive!

Very True

Post by Humphrey Williams on Mon Jan 23, 2012 5:53 pm

Very true.

Granted! But now instead of sensitive skin you are completely numb to everything.

I wish that everybody appreciated Star Wars as much as it should be appreciated.

Granted, but now it has so many irrational crazed fans that it automatically turns intelligent people off.

I wish dressmakers would deviate from their recent designs which only seem to be limited to "slutty" and "more slutty". *remembers a time when skirts weren't glorified belts and shirts weren't pretending to be dresses*

Granted! but you may only wear shades of blue and pink.

I wish that every girl had a sweet (kind definition) personality.

Granted, but in addition to being kind, they are also slow and irresponsible.

I wish all the characters I support in books/movies/shows/anime/manga/comics/plays/musicals didn't always end up dead.

Mythical Creatures

Post by Humphrey Williams on Tue Jan 24, 2012 2:28 pm

Granted! but all the second favorites are murdered as well as your third favorites.

I wish mythical creatures were real.

Granted but they destroy the world.

I wish adults weren't stared at for wanting a toy with their happy meal. *had to pretend I was getting the Mufasa toy for my nonexistent five year old nephew*

That is the best way and what I was hoping for. I fought to the bitter end and managed to kill: The Kraken, and a Cyclops

Yes, yes, yes! I agree whole-heartedly. Granted! but the toy you get breaks when you open the bag it comes in.

I wish I could play in the McDonald's Playland without getting looked at strangely. (6'0" 170 lb. 18 yr old)

*can't ride the merry go round for the same reason - being over eight years old and four feet tall*

Granted but as soon as you get in there, all the other adults join you and you don't even have space to breathe, let alone play.

I wish I had a better signing voice.

Stage Fright

Post by Humphrey Williams on Tue Jan 24, 2012 3:54 pm

Granted! But your voice is destroyed because a siberian huskey nearly ripped out your jugular but missed and damaged your vocal chords.

I wish I could use my excellent singing voice without my terrible nervous problem of performing solos on stage or in front of friends.

I wish I could go home and sleep, right now!

Bed

Bed and Home Granted! But a gigantic thunderstorm passes through and stops you from sleeping.

I wish I had a pet dragon.

I doubt even a hurricane can keep me awake at this rate.

Granted but your dragon ends up burning you alive.

I wish I still had time to watch cartoon network.

The best way to be killed by a dragon.

Granted! But adult swim and adventure time are cancelled permanently.

I wish cartoon network still played anime in the prime time slots like they used to.

Granted, but they only play one episode a month instead of daily/weakly showings.

I wish Clash of Kings (the show) would be out already.

Granted!

Post by Humphrey Williams on Tue Jan 24, 2012 4:44 pm

Granted! But you have to invite me over to watch it with you.

I wish it was march 23rd, because that is when Katniss Everdeen becomes the girl on fire on the silver screen!

Granted but your government bans the movie from being released for whatever reason so all you have to do on that date is watch paint dry. XD

I wish people didn't always jump down my throat for being a "semi" vegetarian.

"Semi" Vegetarian?

Post by Humphrey Williams on Tue Jan 24, 2012 4:52 pm

Granted! But you have to explain how you are "semi" vegetarian.

I wish I knew more Asians.

I don't eat red meat (cows, goats, etc) because I saw a religious slaughtering at the age of five and was traumatized for months.

Granted, but they all force you to study/concentrate on your schoolwork/plan for your future/generally expect you to do better no matter how hard you're trying.

I wish I had gotten into Hogwarts instead of a snobby private school.

I shall deal with being a Gryffindor by pretending I'm a Lannister instead. *is actually a proper sorted Lannister of Casterly Rock on LJ*

You need to make a wish...
