Hearts and Minds (Open to Dark Characters)

The Master was still on his self-imposed quest to destroy The Doctor's life and the lives of all those he cared about but right now he was currently in a dark little pub, filled with equally dark characters. What was odd about this was that he was sat behind a set of five chess boards, all ready to be played on. Not five minutes ago he'd beaten five different people all at the same time. In not bad time either.

Hopefully this would tempt some of those elusive people who were both intelligent and dark minded. People who wanted to watch the world burn were fine - to a point. They would be his foot soldiers. They would be his canon fodder. But what he needed were commanders! People who shared his vision of conquest and were ready, willing and able to command his demented and twisted legions of waiting footsoldiers.

Oh yes he already had quite the little following. Raiding the most heavily guarded sections of magical prisons for recruits tended to have the effect of swelling the ranks.

Tamara had no idea of where she was, all she knew was that this place was interesting and to her liking. She enjoyed dark places. After all, she spent much of her time in the darkest, deepest places in the world; the ocean. She looked on as a man beat five opponents in fifteen minutes in a came of chess.

She learned chess a long time ago, she still remembered it. She had been good, crushing all her opponents. Whether it was wits or because it was so easy to ensnare her opponents in her beauty, enabling her to take their focus away, she could not say. But she knew strategy. She knew how to protect and fight.

So, she decided to give the game a try. She walked over to the man and sat down opposite him. "Can you take on a girl, crusher?" she asked calmly, challenge in her tone.
