Lucian had wondered what he was going to be doing in the holiday while his sister was off being busy and generally not doing what she was supposed to be, which was helping him get this ruddy mark off his arm.

Now he realised that there was nothing. Nothing to do at all.

Out of sheer boredom and desperation he had decided that it would be a good idea to go swimming and he placed his swimming trunks on, and his flip flops, making his way to Willow Lake.

When he got there it was blissfully quiet, most people having gone away on holiday and Lucian slipped off his flip flops and dipped his feet in the water.

Violeta was having a blast with her German aunt and uncle in England. They took her to Willow Lake for a camp out however while they went to set up the tent Violeta had changed into her bikini and her sandals and headed down to the waterfront.

Seeing someone else there she was about to head back but he looked somewhat familiar so she had to go and see if she actually knew him. Smiling when she realized it was Lucian she walked up behind him and tapped his shoulder. "Hello there!"

Lucian almost jumped a mile when he was tapped on the shoulder, he hadn't been expecting it and he had lost himself in the sight of the ripples within the water moving in and out as he moved his feet.

Wondering just who it was who had decided to distrupt him Lucian turned around and blinked a few times, Violeta? What was she doing here? With her German relatives?

"Hey Violeta!" he said with a small smile "What are you doing here? It's dangerous to be in Britain with anyone German...did you bring your parents or something?"

He asked, hoping that they hadn't run into any trouble.

"Well it turns out that my aunt and uncle are also Russian and they thought that I needed to see more of the world so they planned a trip with out my knowing until the day before." I guess they wanted it to be a surprize for me. Anyways here I am safe and sound going to find out what camping is all about since these relatives are muggles actually and it doesn't bug me though they never really give me my space." She smiled at him and couldn't get over how different he looked in swimming trunks but she brushed that aside.

"So how has your vaction been so far?"

Lucian was very glad that there was going to be no hassle for Violeta, he was getting tired of how this war was beginning to effect the both countries and especially since it made it harder to travel from country to country like she needed to.

"I'm glad that you get to spread your wings a little bit, after all this country is beautiful and should be explored."

Grimacing a little at the fact she would be camping Lucian patted her shoulder and smirked:

"Have fun Violeta, I personally don't like camping I'm more of a hotel boy, but I'm sure that it'll be okay, it'll be an experiance whatever you make of it at the end."

Shrugging his shoulders a little Lucian splashed his feet in the water and smiled softly, the truth was his vacation had been really boring and quite lonely: "It's been okay."

"Honestly I don't like camping but my aunt and uncle thought that it would be a good experience for me." She smiled before playfully pushing him. While she was around him she felt like everything in the world was perfect.

"So feel like going for a swim? She asked as she ran into the water and dove under personally she loved to swim and could not be drawn out of the water until she was purple and blue all over and shivering like crazy others would think that she is crazy but that is how much she loved the water.

"Come on the water is great!" She cooed.

Lucian smirked slightly, he supposed it was just him living on his own that had changed his thought process but if someone wanted him to do something that he himself didn't want to do then it wouldn't happen and the person would probably get a punch.

"Swimming? Honestly I've never been one for it myself but sure let's try it, maybe it's funner in the right company."

Chuckling slightly as Violeta dove into the water, splashing him a little, Lucian rolled his eyes and slipped into the water himself, shivering slightly at the cool feel against his skin.

"It's cold...brrr..." he grinned rubbing her arms slightly.

Violeta couldn't help but laugh at his reaction to the water. "It gets warmer once you move around a little bit." She said as she dove under again she honestly thought that she was born half fish or something for she could stand pretty much all temperatures of water.

Her hair fell in wet waves around her face when she surfaced again. Running a hand through her hair she remembered that she should of tied it back or put it up but it was too late for that now. It would already be full of knots.

Lucian smirked slighlty and decided that he should probably do some swimming like Violeta had suggested and he sighed, ducked his head under the water, and begun to swim into the middle of the lake.

Surfacing from the water he grinned, flipping his hair back from his face with a small gasp:

"Much much better now that I've gotten used to it."

Looking at Violeta swim as if she was born in the water, Lucian couldn't help but chuckle and flicked some water at her: "What are you a mermaid or something? You swim like a pro."

"There have been no tests to prove that I am a mermaid or anything but I seriously believe I was born half fish." She said as she diveed under and grabbed his leg surfacing beside him She smiled. "Did something grab your leg?"

There were many things that she loved to do in the water and one of them happened to be bugging the people that she was with though most of them thought it was cute.

Lucian smirked lightly and thought that it would be pretty obvious if she was in fact a mermaid because she would have a tail and not be able to talk above the water, but didn't point that out.

"Well it wouldn't surprise me, maybe it's just in your blood or something, that you're an unusually good swimmer."

Jumping a little when something grabbed his leg, he raised an eyebrow as Violeta resurfaced and he smirked, trying to play along with the fact he 'didn't know' it was Violeta.

"Yeah something just did, I hope it's not an eel or something like that, has something grabbed your leg at all?"

Smiling a little at Lucian's reaction she really did not know why she always felt so happy around him. She longed to spend every minute with him but knew that wasn't possible still it would be nice.

Feeling her toe begin to go numb she decided that it was time to exit the water but when she looked at the shore she saw her aunt and uncle watching her and she froze in place not knowing what they saw and what they would report back to her parents.

Lucian could see that it was getting perhaps a little too cold for Violeta but himself decided to stay in the water doing a few backflips and sufacing again, blowing water out of his mouth like a whale.

Seeing her looking at something, Lucian turned too and cocked an eyebrow, he guessed they were her aunt and uncle.

"So, they're your Aunt and Uncle, seem like nice folk, although I don't think that they're looking at me all to kindly." Lucian joked and gave them a jovial wave.

Violeta knew she should get out and join her Aunt and Uncle but she was torn between going over to them and staying with Lucian. She knew that she would get a stern lecture about how it wasn't right for a young lady to be in a male presence on her own. Honestly she could care less it was her life to live wasn't it and she trusted Lucian.

"No they don't." She answered him smiling a little bit but did not like the reaction the wave got now her uncle was running angerly towards them, quickly ducking behind Lucian she was scared of this man for he had come home drunk and hit her several times.
