Lucian smirked slightly, the teacher might not be nice, but from what he had seen of her, she wasn't all too bad to look at, not that he would ever put his life in danger by trying to get a closer look...

"No, no she's not very nice, but then again, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind."

Grinning, almost as if she had read his mind Lucian nodded his head, he was in the same boat as her, he really hated spiders and everything they did.

"Yes, I also hate spiders, seriously, whats the need for so many legs? There is no reason!"

With a curious glance of his own at the way that she tilted her head Lucian decided to ignore it and instead think about a suitable answer to her question:

"I don't really know, maybe I just give out bad vibes."

Lucian nodded his head excitedly, he really did love his home town even though he hasn't been able to visit there for a while, and probably would have to wait a while longer.

"Yes, I would really reccommend it, especially when there's all the celebrations going on, the festivals."

Keaira blinked. "Hey, that could possibly be true," she said slowly.

To be nice, you have to be cruel? Wow... She then sighed and smiled as he told her he feared spiders too.

"I know right! Seriously! Did you know that if the gravity went either up or down, can't remember which way, then spiders wouldn't be able to exist on the planet? It's pissing me off, for sure!" she said with big eyes.

Spiders were a deal breaker. Whenever anyone talked about them in a bad way, she felt she could totally let go of her monotone voice. So now, she was chatting excitedly with a guy she had never met before and having a blast. Maybe she should just let whatever he was go. It wasn't that big of a deal.

"Hm... Maybe you are... Didn't set me off though," she joked with a grin.

She then grinned as he chatted enthustiastically about his hometown.

"Well, that settles it then? I'm going to Carribean sometime!" Keaira said happily.

Lucian smiled slightly, it wasn't often that he spurted out little pearls of wisdom, but he was glad that it still made a little sense and that Kearia would take it on board...but then again that might not be such a good thing if she decides to be cruel to everyone.

"No way! There must be some way that we can reverse gravity ourselves to get rid of the horrible things, there must be a spell too."

Sighing slightly he wished that there was some way that he could do this, but he was jolted out of the thoughts he was pondering when she spoke again, paying attention.

"Well I'm glad, otherwise there would be nobody who would be friends with me and that would be awfully lonely and sad." he pouted his lip out.

Grinning Lucian nodded his head, just wishing he could go back with her and see it once more; "It's a good place to visit, lots of spiders and bugs though."

"Oh, let's make sneaky plans on getting the gravity either up or down a notch!" she said jokingly.

But she really did wish the spiders would just vanish. They were ... scary and freaky. She then sighed. Just like her... But she didn't mind being feared, she just didn't want to be feared by the people she took an interest in. That was why she was trying her best to be nice to Lucian.

She then smiled. "I'm sure it's not as bad as you think. I mean, I know what it's like to not have friends, if you don't count twins, but I don't understand why people would shy away from you," she said calmly.

She honestly didn't. Sure, there was something funny about his spiritual energy, but it wasn't that bad. Or maybe it was, but she didn't think so because she was someone people shyed away from too.

"Then I'm definitely going to the Carribean. Spiders or no spiders," she said calmly, with a victorious grin, as if she had just been there battling a dragon and then come home with a big grin on her face.

Lucian smirked and nodded his head, he would look through some books and try and find out if there was some sort of spell for him to learn in order to move gravity around a little.

If not he was sure that he would have time to invent one. He was going to live long enough after all.

"Yes let's! Hopefully there's a spell book somewhere in Durmstrang about it, it might actually mean I've got to go into the library though."

Grinning he ran a hand through his hair, he was beginning to quite like this girl, maybe it just took a while to get used to her or for her to come out of her shell a little.

"Well all my friends are girls, boys don't really get on too well with me, personally I think they're jealous of my drop dead stunning looks."

He joked, he was often arrogant, but he rarely meant what he said about himself.

"Id like to come with you." he said quietly.

Keaira relaxed more and more as Lucian got more excited for the idea of getting rid of spiders. She felt much more at ease than she had expected to. When he then brushed a hand through his hair, Keaira knew he was starting to relax in her presence as well.

Then she chuckled. She could feel on him that he could be a bit stuck up about himself, but she had a feeling that it wasn't because he truly believed he was better than anyone else. Actually, Keaira felt it as if he was being arrogant to conceal his true and a tad lower self esteem.

"I'm sure," Keaira then said, "There aren't many guys around who looks as good as you."

Keaira said it bluntly, not meaning it as a compliment, but as a fact. She was like that. She told people the truth, and that was final. Nothing more, nothing less. Of course, she didn't mind it if he took it as a compliment.

She was then a bit taken aback by his blunt 'I'd like to come with you'-reply to the decision of leaving to the Carribean. She cocked her head to the side. It wasn't a bad idea.

"I don't think I would mind. I'd have someone who could show me around," Keaira said honestly.

When Keaira said what she did Lucian felt like he might blush a little but instead he took it in his stride, the thing that got him the most about what she said was the fact it sounded so final, like a fact.

"Well thank you, I have to say, it takes a lot of work to look like this, I have to brush my hair once a day, how much effort is that?" he joked

Lucian turned his mind for a moment to his hometown, it was a nice place and he had mostly good memories from there, apart from the time they found out what he was and chased him away.

"Ahhh if only I could come with you, they kind of, wont let me back in the country, they don't really like me very much." he said, a mixture of sad and slightly embarrassed.

Looking around Lucian saw someone looking at the two of them in a weird way and a little worried he might go and get the manager of the store, Lucian kept an ear open.

"It's been a while since Ive been there."

Keaira laughed as Lucian joked about his style. She actually couldn't help but laugh. Out loud. As in l o l. She never laughed out loud. Never. Lucian could officially think of himself as funny when he got her to laugh. And it was over such a simple matter.

"Well done, Lucian. There really aren't many people using hairbrushed these days," Keaira said, still laughing slightly.

She then lost her smile as Lucian said he was no longer welcome. "Why? What happened?" she wondered if it had something to do with his energy, but she didn't want to ask him.

She then followed his gaze to the desk. He seemed weary. She intensed her range so she could read more people, but she couldn't find out why Lucian seemed almost nervous.

"Then we'll sneak you in," Keaira said bluntly, "Polyjuice potion."

She wasn't sure if that'd even work. Especially if Lucian was completely human. But there were many disguisetricks in the world, and Keaira happened to know one that hid spiritual energy since that was her power. She had of course figured she wouldn't be the only one who could sense energy, so she had immediately searched up a spell that would hide it in case she needed to go undercover sometime.

Lucian was a little bit startled when Keaira began to laugh so hard, to be honest he hadn't thought of her as a laughter person so what he said must have been really quite funny, even if he didn't think so himself.

"I know right? Hairbrushes are such a rarity, I mean it's obvious that guy over there doesn't posess one, and neither does that guy, they look like they've got bushes on their heads."

He didn't really know what to say in regards to that, he couldn't exactly lie, but then again he didn't want to say exactly what he was in case she told everyone then he'd be pushing up daisies.

"Apparently snogging the daughter of the local mafia leader is not a good idea, I mean really, how was I supposed to know? I guess they thought I was 'evil'."

Grinning Lucian actually let through a proper smile: "Thank you but I don't know if they'd work on me."

Keaira chuckled and shook her head slightly. Then she smirked and leaned a bit closer, holding a hand in front of her mouth.

"Well, they do actually look like that have never even heard the word. They look so... dirty," Keaira whispered to him.

Then she sighed. He told her why he was thrown away from his country and Keaira bit her lip.

"Really? Yah think? Seriously, do you like danger or something?" Keaira asked in almost an accusing way.

But she didn't mean to be accusing. Seriously, she wasn't one to talk either. She loved danger. She loved the thrill of it and everything it gave her. She then looked at Lucian.

"Not to be accusing. I mean, I pretty much like danger myself, but seriously? The mafia's boss's daughter?" Keaira snickered, "You sure know how to pick 'em."

As she had suspected, the polyjuice potion wouldn't work on him. Keaira didn't want to push it, but the thought of going to the Carribean with Lucian kept her going. He really seemed like a middle of the three good guy. And Keaira found that he might end up being a friend of hers.

"How about disguise spells? Or would the mafia know them all?" Keaira asked with a wink.

Lucian nodded his head and held his hand in front of his mouth too, oh he did so love gossiping about the failures of other men, and he could tell that both of these fellows in question hadn't had a good snog for ages...and you could tell why.

"Yes they do look rather trampy don't they, that one over there might even look half decent if he got himself a shave and a hair cut...and got rid of that suit...please that's so last year." he said with a frustrated sigh.

Rolling his eyes slightly as his mistake was critiqued he only snickered back, of course that wasn't the real reason he was kicked out, although he did in fact do that at one point.

"Well, sue me, she was hot and needed comforting, what's a guy to do? I didn't know that her father was going to walk in..." he said with a grin "But yes, I do quite like adrenaline, even if I am too lazy to do any sports."

Thinking about it for a moment, Lucian thought that this idea might actually work, after all diguise charms would hopefully suppress his weird vibes that flipped out the village elders when he was there, which was some time ago.

"You know, I think that might actually work, I'll definately give it a try. Although I don't know any...hmmm."

Keaira grinned at him as he whispered back. Then she blinked. So, he was into fashion?

"Last year, right," Keaira said, not really having a clue about clothes whatsoever.

Then she grinned again. "Honestly, Lucian, hot and in need of some comfort? That's called taking advantage of someone," she joked.

"And I can agree with you there. The thrill of danger is just ... amazing. And sports really isn't anything to me, unless it is martial arts," Keaira then said.

She had been training martial arts when she was younger. Not in a class or anything, no they couldn't afford that, but she had paid attention to some people who were training it in their freetime.

"I know a whole bunch of glamour charms. Don't worry about that," Keaira said, smirking widely. One thing she had taken the liberty of learning during her first year was the glamour charms. Blending in was important in these times.

"So, it's settled then? We're going to the Carribean?" Keaira asked with excitement in her voice.

Lucian smirked lightly when Kearia just agreed with him about the clothes, it was obvious now if it hadn't been before that she wasn't really a girl that was interested in fashion. Not that he minded, he was interested in it enough for the both of them.

"Hey! You say taking advantage of, I say comforting...they're two sides of the same coin only one side is nicer to say." he grinned "But I'm not like that now, Scouts Honour, nearly getting shot had made me a changed man."

When Kearia said that she didn't really like sports either, Lucian grinned even wider, but his eyebrow raised when she thought about how that could be used on him.

"Okay as long as you don't use it on me that's fine..."

Lucian smiled, it seemed as if she really was excited to come with him back home and he nodded his head with a small chuckle:

"Yes yes we're going to the Carribean, but the question is, when would you like to go?"

Keaira chuckled. "I guess so. I'm not really one to judge anyways. Me and my twins guardian is an asshole, and I have no idea how many times I've used the guardian to my advantage," she said coldly.

To her, that person could just go die. Seriously, she wouldn't mind that for the world.

She then smirked when Lucian told her not to use martial arts on him. "That's a deal," she said calmly.

When he asked her when, she grinned slightly, thinking.

"After Christmas Day. But we return before New Years Eve. How about that? Or do we wait until the summer break?" Keaira asked him curiously.

Lucian grinned lightly, it seemed as if both of them knew what they wanted and knew how to get it and it seemed that the way to get it was to be as decieving as they could possibly be.

"Ahhh you're a twin are you, is it double trouble with two girls or is it a brother that you have?"

Leaving out the burning question that he had about the guardian, Lucian thought that might be best to ask about another time.

Glad that he wasn't going to be getting his ass kicked any time soon; "Thanks very much, I sure appreciate that."

Lucian raised his eyebrow a little bit at the sooness of the date they didn't even really know her yet but he thought that they could talk more in school and things before they went off.

"I think we could do that, you sure are eager aren't you?"
