Charlotte had decided that she would like to go back to the scene where all the drama first began, it was the Ampitheatre that was the place that Humphrey and Airen started to fight about her and she wondered about it, about why that happened.

Sighing she idly sketched the outline of the theatre, it was a beautiful place to be sure and the history was rich, and she hoped that the school would be all fixed up by the time that she returned, it had hurt her to see the lovely building of Hogwarts so hurt.

Tessa decided that since she was just a first year that she would just wonder around. But with her being blind it was diffcult, and she was always stumbling around. Sometimes she thought that she would fall flat on her face. Most people didn't know how to react around her because she was different. But she had to remind herself, that they didn't know better.

Charlotte looked up and she saw someone coming into the arena, wondering if they were okay, she looked up and saw they seemed to be having some difficulty walking around and she hoped that they hadn't been attacked or something.

"Uhm, hello? Are you okay?"

She asked cautiously, placing her sketchpad away and smiling slightly at the figure, which at closer inspection turned out to be a girl, she looked younger than her.

Tessa blinked when she heard someone else. She then was very still, Tessa learned this over the years. Tessa then blinked a little bit. " Yes I am alright, well I mean I guess I am." The thing Tessa really didn't know how to act around others, and sometimes it made her nervous.

Charlotte tilted her head to one side and wondered slightly about the way that she was holding herself, it didn't seem quite right and despite what she said Charlotte couldn't help but feel a little anxious about the girl in front of her.

"Okay then, if you say so, if you need any help don't be afraid to ask."

Smiling slightly wider Charlotte placed her hands in her pockets, kicking her feet on the floor.

"My names Charlotte, what's your name?"

Tessa knew that she should try and be poilte to this person. But she decided that she was going to try and talk to this girl.

" I am Tessa Grey."

She then blinked a little bit. Tessa knew never to expect a whole lot out of anything. So why would this be any different. One thing she hated was when someone would try and help her. She would feel helpless and weak when they did.

Charlotte smiled lightly when she seemed to be getting somewhere with the conversation, it meant that the person wasn't hurt and she wasn't going to have to help them...

She wouldn't know what to do if she did!

"It's nice to meet you Tessa."

Sitting down on one of the stone ledges which were the seats of the ampitheatre Charlotte sucked at her lip piercing and asked:

"What brings you to the ampitheatre?"

Tessa smiled a little bit. At least this person didn't think that she was hurt or even injuried. But she knew that later she was going to have to explain why she was stumbling. And she was looking for the pefect way to explain it. Tessa just hoped that this girl could understand.

" It is nice to meet you too, even though I don't know your name."

She just stood there very still. Tessa knew that if she would try and walk, that she would fall down. But after a while she got used to falling. It would only mean scraping her knees up, cause she would usually try and catch herself. But she hated it cause her legs where all scared up.

After a couple of seconds of thinking. Tessa thought she came up with the best anwser. " I didn't know where I was going. I was just wondering around." She had hoped that they believed what she just said. Sometimes Tessa felt like she was wondering in the dark. But then she would remind her self that it was true.

Charlotte smiled lightly, it was obvious that this girl wanted to hear her whole name, and it was a little odd for her not to give it, but then again this whole situation was rather odd and she didn't know what to make of it, holding her hand out for the other girl to shake Charlotte said:

"Oh sorry, my name is Charlotte Smith, I normally give out my full name, don't know why I didn't, I'm sorry I'm in a bit of a...distracted mood today."

When Charlotte was told that Tessa didn't know where she was going, she wondered if she might be a tourist or something who had gotten lost or taken away from her during a changeover or something, after all, this place was normally heaving.

"I see! Are you on holiday or something? Did you get lost from your group or something like that? I hope they haven't gone far we could find them together."

Tessa smiled a little bit. She let the name roll off her tounge. " Nice to meet you Charlotte Smith." Tessa could feel that Charlotte was holding out her hand. This was the part that she always hated, cause this is where everybody would figure out.

She then started to blink a little bit, but decided to shake her hand. Tessa knew that she didn't grab Charlotte's hand. And she knew that she would have to explain why. She wasn't really sure how Charlotte would react to it. In this always made Tessa nervous.

Tessa sighed a little bit. " I am used to getting lost a lot." She then knew that she was going to have to explain this. She wanted to explain, but there was a part of her that was scared.

She then blinked a little bit. " So where am I?" Tessa knew that she was by herself. It wasn't like she was a part of a group. And from the sounds of it, Charlotte thought that she was a tourist. But she was used to being by herself, that she didn't even think about the idea.

Charlotte frowned a little when Tessa didn't take her hand but instead shook the air next to it, and she wondered if in fact she could see, it was perhaps the reason that she was so lost and didn't know where she was, but why would she be let out on her own if she couldn't see?

"I can tell that might be a problem, but why are you out all by yourself if you know, you get lost a lot?"

Not wanting to outright say 'Because you can't see' she didn't know how Tessa would react to her saying such a thing and she smiled slightly, she was glad that she had come down to see her now, she wouldn't want her getting hurt.

"You're in the Roman Ampitheatre, it's a nice place to come and have a think, it's very quiet most of the time."

Tessa could feel Charlotte frown. She wonder if she didn't know how to acting around her. But this was something Tessa was used to. And she was used to getting lost all the time, it was something new and different to her. She knew that some people didn't see it like that. They thought she should be lock away somewhere, where she couldn't hurt herself.

She smiled a little bit. " Every time I get lost, it is like a small adventure. Because you never know what you are going to find.

Tessa was stilling smiling. " It is alright, I know what you are saying. I hear it alot, that it is something that I know remember. Even when I go to sleep. I know that I am blind, and life isn't easy for me."

She then paused for a couple of seconds. " Roman Ampitheatre? I have actually only read about it in books. But I think I remember the Greeks used to use an ampitheatre for there tragic plays."

Charlotte smiled lightly, she liked the way that Tessa thought about being lost all of the time, it was indeed very much like an adventure if you thought about it that way, it was very dangerous but could often lead to very interesting days out if things went well.

"Thats a great way of thinking about it, adventures are one of the best things in life."

Thinking for a moment Charlotte remembered that she hadn't seen Tessa around school, and wondered if she was going to be joining up this year, after all she didn't seem much younger than herself.

"Are you going to be starting Hogwarts this year Tessa? I don't think I've seen you around."

Biting her lip Charlotte felt bad for a moment, she felt bad for Tessa, she didn't know how she became blind or if she was just born like that, if she had become like that it would be doubly hard, but she didn't want to ask in case she was still sensitive about it.

"Yeah they did used to use it for things like that, most people think that they were for Roman Gladiators but they were only used very rarely for that."

Tessa smiled a little bit. “ Yeah, it is like I discover something new.” She knew that she needed to keep thinking like this, because she always felt jealous of others being able to see. And she knew that she should never do that.

“ Yeah I think that I read it out of a book, but I can't remember which one.”

She the paused for a couple of seconds. “ Yes I am starting my first year, and I really hope that I am placed in Gryffindor. It seems like a great house.”

“ I was actually born blind. I have gotten used to people asking me. So I am no longer sensitive to it.” Tessa then just stood there waiting for Charlotte to respond. She was trying to ease up being nervous around people.

“ I actually got to listen to muggle who done Shakespeare, I always wanted to walk on stage. But that is just a dream.

Charlotte smiled slightly when it seemed that despite her condition, Tessa had adjusted quite well to life without sight, even if nobody should ever have to adjust to something like that. Charlotte would probably have done something similar if she was in her position.

When she mentioned that she was starting Hogwarts this year Charlotte nodded with a happy grin:

"Gryffindor huh? My...my uhm...boyfriend? He's in Gryffindor. I'm in Slytherin." she said her smile dimming and she hoped that Tessa wouldn't judge her on her house.

"Oh I see, I suppose, if you have to think of it in terms like these, it would be harder to have had sight and then lose it than to never have it, although I could imagine the frustration that it must sometimes cause."

Smiling slightly wider Charlotte grinned at the oppertunity to discuss Shakespeare:

"I was attempting to read a Shakespeare play, do you have a favourite?"
