Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Lesson Four - Second Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Mon May 28, 2012 10:29 pm

Cobalt wandered into the lesson with a small yawn, a cup of coffee in his hand as he made his way to the desk to await the arrival of his students. Rolling his neck to loosen it, Cobalt sat down behind his desk. Putting his coffee mug down on the desk he reached into one of the drawers in his desk and removed a jar, covered by a red cloth so that nothing of the inside could be seen. Cobalt calmly went back to sipping his coffee.

Sam kept her eye's glued to the ground she didn't Know what else to do Sam sighed and walked into the classroom she gave the professor a nod before sitting down in the very back.

Sam stared at the desk she noticed the desk looked older, Sam sighed and waited for the rest of the class to show up.

Anne walked into class and smiled at Sam. She had been having a hard time. She sat next to her and sighed remembering her stupid stunt last class. She sighed and knew she was in for it. She really didn't want to get into trouble so much had happened to her.

"Hey Sam." She said sitting next to her. "Ready for an interesting lesson?" She asked her.

Tessa walked into the class with Yasmina. She was excited that it was the last lesson of the school year. She would be spending her summer with Professor Slytherin. So that she could see Damien. Tessa waited for class to start.

Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Second Years

Anne smiled at Sam she liked her she was great. She almost groaned when Tessa came in. She wasn't crazy about her. She was done trying to make her happy. It took too much time and energy. She was a bit put off knowing she'd have to spend her whole summer with her. At least it would be better than the last. She wouldn't be alone this time.

Anne looked up at the teacher and wondered what was under the red cloth. She shrugged knowing that it would be in the lesson.

Cobalt could see that his class seemed to have decended into a controlled sort of chaos and frowned slightly. However, he decided that it was time to start the lesson.

He pulled the cloth off of the jar to expose what it contained. It contained several of the products know as decoy detonators. He withdrew one before letting it go. A few second later it exploded loudly and with an awful lot of smoke, to get the attention of his students,

"Can I have your attention please!" he called out, "This is a classroom, not a common room. Now... can someone tell me the name of the delightful product that just made you all nearly jump out of your skin?"

Anne saw him take the cover off and scowled at his expression. She really didn't care for the professors here. Really class had yet to start so why couldn't they talk. She sighed knowing that he really didn't care what she thought.

She laughed when the class jumped. She herself had been looking at the decoy already. She had been slightly startled herself. She looked back at the teacher and raised her hand.

"They're decoy detonators. They were invented some time in the 90's by the Weasley twins." She stated.

Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Second Years

Xander knew he was late, but made no effort to hide his entrance. Not with Professor Smith. He took a seat near the back, groaning inwardly at the ratio of Gryffindor to Slytherin. He was growing to learn not to judge people by their house, but three girls from one house in a class could be disastrous no matter the house.

Jumping a little at the explosion he smirked at the professors reaction to the idle chatter. He imagined it would get on his nerves too if he ever became a teacher. Which will NEVER happen.
