Charlie stood in the entrance to Knocturn Alley, looking on the hundreds of wizards milling around the much more popular street called Diagon Alley, her eyes narrowed and her throat burned, the scent of all of this human blood was beginning to drive her insane she wanted to be able to sink her fangs into someones neck, and she knew that she would do, very very soon. She just had to wait for the right time.

A few moments later, the sun sank behind the horizon and everyone became much more twitchy, they knew the danger that was coming, even if they didn't know that today, was the day, that Charlie was finally going to launch her first attack at the wizarding nation that had taken her apprentice from her, and she would ensure that those British Rebels would rue the day that they rose up against Germany...and against creatures.

Stepping out of the alleyway, Charlie waited for a moment, merely looking at a group of men before one of them turned, noticed her, and his mouth opened in a shout. Before he could finish his warning Charlie was on him, her fangs sinking into his main vein in his neck, not caring to be gentle as the blood spurted over his friends, ripping her fangs from his neck she quickly sunk her hard sharpened fingernails into the chest of another of his friend, jumping up onto the roof with the body before any spells could be fired her way.

With a sinister grin Charlie removed her fingernails from his chest, with his heart skewered on the ends.

In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK) Empty Re: In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK)

Ophelia hummed softly to herself as she moved through Diagon Alley, looking for her favourite store. She wasn't very good at finding places, despite the many months she'd now lived in Britain. She was just hopelessly scatter brained which made it near impossible for her to remember anything that wasn't of great importance. She could remember all the meetings amongst the British Rebels word for word, but where her apartment was and what number? Nope.

She had to write it on the back of her hand every morning before she left so she wouldn't forget. Ophelia shook her head and slipped into the little book store, scanning the rows of books. It wasn't long before night had fallen and the hairs on the back of her neck were standing up. Something was about to happen, she could feel it. Slowly, Ophelia turned and looked outside.

She placed the book back on the shelf and made her way outside, standing just out the doorway. Her eyes scanned the darkness for someone out of place, but everything seemed to be normal. Until, everything was suddenly in mayhem. People screamed in shock as some woman attacked a man, and Ophelia gasped in shock. He was dead before she could draw her wand, his heart skewered on the woman's fingers. In the midst of running, screaming people, she stepped into the crowd and blended in.

She drew her wand and in a movement faster than the eye could catch, she flicked her wand at the woman and cried out; "Incarcerous! Stupefy! Confundus!" Ophelia watched as the ropes flew towards the woman, followed by jets of light, but she didn't wait to see what would happen. She shut her eyes, grit her teeth and morphed into a Hippogriff, a cry of agony escaping her before she charged at the woman, rearing up on her back legs and slashing her talons into the others arm.

Charlie grinned when it seemed that only one woman was going to stand up to her and she readied herself for the attack that she would make on her, of course the spells were tricky to avoid as she herself could not use magic, it was one of the downsides to being a vampire.

Of course one of the up sides was the fact that she could move faster than most spells and she dodged them all effectively, however she could then not move away quick enough from the attack the woman or rather hippgryff launched upon her. Her arm was torn into pretty bad, and Charlie hissed in pain before the wounds healed up and she smirked at the woman.

"My turn!" she grinned and charged towards the woman her fangs bared and hand getting ready to spear the hippogryff through the stomach as she did so, with a happy laugh Charlie withdrew her hand and swiftly aimed a strong kick at the knee of the beast, hoping to break the kneecap and immoblise her assailant.

In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK) Empty Re: In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK)

Post by Charina Hayes Thu Sep 20, 2012 9:12 pm

Charina was walking around in Knockturn Alley. There was nobody to see around there, except some girl who was watching everyone else in Diagon Alley. She didn't see anything unusual; the woman's back was facing her. She smirked and was about to make another step when several things happened. The lady attacked two men. One she killed by biting on his neck, the other she killed with her own fingernails. Chari's smirk turned into a snarl as she shoved people out of her way, until she saw Ophelia, a fellow Rebel. Well, at least she was there. But they probably needed more people; who knew how many creatures were going to appear?

She pressed a rune on her forearm to warn the other Rebels. She ran, pretending to scream as she blended in with the crowd. But she was running in the direction of the vampire, slowly taking out Umbra, a dagger she bought from Knockturn. Tired of the people shoving her continuously, she decided to just take some cover and chose a spot just right behind the vampire, who was busy fighting Ophelia who just recently turned into a Hippogriff. "Invisibilis," Chari muttered under her breath as she took her position behind an almost-broken pillar.

She moved around it until she was facing the back of the vampire. She slashed at the back with Umbra and ran off to blend in once more, not bothering to see if she wounded the creature. She took out her wand after hiding Umbra once more, and pointed it at the direction of the woman. "Sectumsempra! Stupefy! Confundus! Flipendo! Levicorpus! Diffindo!" Many-colored lights shot out of her wand as the spells hit different spots. She flicked her wand as a spell bounced back to her. The spell bounced away to the direction of the vampire. Chari didn't bother to see where the spells go, and made her way to Ophelia.

"Need backup? Looks like you need some," she said quietly, but loud enough for Ophelia and the creature to hear. She did some of her spells nonverbally, pointing her wand at the woman's direction. "What d'you think you're doing?" she snarled. She barely noticed where her spells hit, and parts of Diagon Alley was literally crumbling to pieces. She moved just in time to dodge a panicking witch who was shooting spells in all directions. A few more spells and she was starting to wonder where the others were. Maybe they hadn't gotten her call for help.

In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK) Empty Re: In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK)

Sehkmet could tell that there was another human nearby that was going to attack her, she didn't get to be this old without picking up a few tricks from fighting after all, and she could tell when someone was screaming out of actual fear, or screaming merely to create a diversion for themselves to blend into the crowd, never the less the strike to the back surprised her and she smirked a little bit, wiping the cut with her hand and licking the blood as the cut hissed and healed shut.

"You should know better than to try and cut a vampire, witch, after all we heal straight afterwards, humans however, do not have that blessing." she grinned.

As soon as the barriage of spells came towards her she felt herself moving at her flitting speed to avoid them all, yet she was hit by the final spell, and it cut into her skin, quite deeply and she could tell that although it would heal, it would take longer than before with the force of magic behind the spell directed at her.

Picking up several bits of wooden beam Sehkmet launched them at the two humans, hoping to catch their limbs and break bones, but as she used the beams she too drew out her two long hunting knives and she flitted towards the pair, merely becoming a faint blur as she did so and she sliced and hacked at their bodies with inhuman speed and strength, before flitting away and jumping onto a crumbling rooftop.

"I think I'm destroying some of you insects and having a mighty fun time doing it," Sehkmet grinned tilting her head to one side "You have a problem with that?"

In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK) Empty Re: In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK)

Post by Ophelia Zabini Wed Oct 17, 2012 1:07 pm

Ophelia clucked her beak at the women and dodged the advancing vampire, though a moment to late as she was kicked sharply in the knee. She cried out in pain which was followed by a groan of agony as she morphed back into her human form and clutched her broken leg. She grit her teeth and looked up, wand out and ready as she quickly healed her leg while the vampire was distracted by Charina - a fellow rebel who she had never been more glad to see in her life.

Ophelia stood up and danced backwards. With a roll of her eyes, Ophelia smirked at the vampire, feeling confidence build in her at the adrenaline pumping through her veins. In that back of her mind, she entertained the idea that she may have a multiple personality disorder, going from shy and easily flustered to confident and malicious. She focused her attention on the vampire as she began to move with in-human speed, becoming a blur.

Ophelia winced as the knife cut into her several times but she managed to magically block most of the attacks. She focused her magical energy on Sehkmet and grit her teeth - fuck, she was so going to pay for this later, transforming into another magical being was painful as hell. She shut her eyes and felt her legs cave under her, not even noticing the sting of her wounds in comparison to the burning agony all over her body. It was always painful, even once she'd managed to change. She felt her limbs strengthen and when her eyes opened, everything was in sharper focus.

There was still a pain inside of her chest that was difficult to ignore, but she managed to do it as she decided to focus instead on the other. She inhaled and felt a wild desire to drain those near her, but she had control. The human part of her was still inside and she listened to that voice, ignoring the cravings and the pain as she lunged up to where Sehkmet was and hissed. "Not so fun now that we're evenly matched, hey?" She swiped out, feeling her arm powerful as her movements became faster then human as she danced around the other, lunging forwards to scratch and maim.

"Why are you here, what quarrel do you have with the shoppers?" She snarled.

In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK) Empty Re: In The Darkness Bind Them (ATTACK)

Post by Charina Hayes Wed Oct 17, 2012 10:49 pm

Charina rolled her eyes. "We have magic, which is nearly the same as your power. We can heal and kill with our own wands without breaking a sweat," she said with a smirk. As she fired more spells at the vampire, she had also seen that her last spell had hit the vampire, and it seemed to take a bit more time than the usual. A grin crossed Charina's face, until she was sliced by a knife repeatedly. The slashing stopped, and she looked down at her cuts. She groaned and pulled out her wand, doing a spell non-verbally. She winced as the cuts very slowly healed. She frowned and pointed her wand towards the rooftop the vampire was on.

Charina aimed carefully and a flash of light came from her wand, causing the pillars underneath the part the vampire was standing on to break. She grinned and took cover as bits of rock came down to the spot where she was. She was hoping the vampire would fall, but as more rock fell, she couldn't see very much. Only then, as she peered into a nearly-shattered mirror on the floor, had she realized that her face was covered in dust and her hair had tiny fragments of rock. Charina flicked her wand, using the Aguamenti spell, and turned.

She fired a few more spells before hiding once more.
