Shutterbug (Lady and Cobie)

Cobie arrived at the place Lady had asked him to come to. Apparently there had been some cancellations in her diary and she'd suddenly had a lunch free. She said she wanted to spend it with him so he had made his way over as fast as he could. He wanted to see her again because, to be honest, it was rather boring being a real person when you were alone.

Yawning slightly, having only woken about an hour ago, and scratched the back of his head as he wandered over to the meeting point. He looked around lazily and had to stiffle another yawn before he just sighed a little bit and leant against a wall,

"Lilim?" he called out, "Lilim are you here?"

Lady Midday had been looking forwards to this event for some time now, she knew that Cobie was going to be the perfect replacement for the male model that they had lost out on this morning, and she knew that the lure of spending lunch with her would be something that he wouldn't refuse.

Now she had her new high heeled brogues on as she walked swiftly towards the meeting point, coat undone and sipping her Starbucks as she went, she was excited to see Cobie again of course for reasons that weren't purely business related. But he didn't have to know that.

"Ah Cobie there you are!" she smiled gently "Are you ready to come to lunch with me, it's just in here if you're ready?"

With that she linked her arms with his and smiled happily, guiding him into the club behind them who didn't make a bad club toastie now it had been taken over.

Cobie had the ominous feeling that he was going to be doing something that he wouldn't normally be caught dead doing. It was a rather specific problem but one that he could feel was going to be proven right today.

Catching sight of Lilim was easy. She was the only one with a starbucks coffee cup in hand when the nearest one was over a hundred miles away,

"Here I am like you asked." he agreed with a small smile before nodding, "Sure let's get some lunch. I didn't think this place did food though.."

When she linked arms with him he happily let himself be led into the building but was getting a little bit confused,

"Why are we going to the back rooms?"

Lady Midday smiled happily, oh his expression was just too cute, as if he knew what he was going to be doing today, when really he had no idea that he was headed for something completely different and something he would not be expecting at all. Gently squeezing his hand Lilim smiled softly.

"Well it doesn't normally but I have a special arrangement today they are going to put some food on for us, I did hire out the place today after all so we could dine in private." she pouted lightly, it technically was the truth, she did hire out the place and there was food.

Opening the door to the back room, Lady Midday revealed lots of different scenes and props, a changing screen, and professional photographer equipment, that she had hired for the day and she had been trained how to use.

"So Cobie..." she smirked gently shutting the door behind her "You want to do me a small, iddy biddy favour because you just love me that much?"

When she told him that she had hired out the entire place, Cobie was a little bit surprised. After all, he didn't know that having a lunch would require such an expensive gesture. But then again maybe she just valued her privacy? He'd soon find out,

"The entire place huh?" he chuckled a little bit and shook his head a little bit, "Well now that's quite the expensive little display. You sure you're not up to something? Not trying to butter me up for something are you?"

As soon as he walked in he noticed all of the equipment and narrowed his eyes. Why the hell was it decked out like a photoshoot? He paused,

"Lilim... why is this place a photoshoot?" he asked, dreading the answer when she said she wanted a favour, "Okay... what favour? Take some photos of you for your mag or something?"

Lady Midday knew that he was onto her plans and she smirked a little bit, there was no point in hiding it any more, he was a smart man and she hadn't really tried to hide it that much, but she sat down on one of the ancient Greek scenes with a small sigh, taking off her coat and draping it on the stone bench.

"This place is a photoshoot because I am taking some new photos for my wizarding magazine, it's a new idea and it's going to be released in a few weeks." she explained sipping at her coffee with a soft smile.

Gesturing around to the rest of the place, Lilim couldn't help but let her lip pout out in a sad expression, maybe it would make Cobie feel like he wanted to comply with what she wanted to do, and not let her down at the last moment.

"But my male model has cancelled on me, I was wondering if you would take his place? Please? I only pick the most handsome of men for this magazine, it is the female equivilant to Witches XXX after all."

Cobie was tempted to smack his head against the wall. There was even a phrase about this kind of thing. No such thing as a free lunch, that's what they said. And yet he'd believed in, hook, line and sinker,

"Uhuh that makes sense. Thought you might have outsourced it though with your business size." he muttered before nodding, "So a completely new line? Sounds expensive."

When she pouted Cobie sighed a little bit. Damn pouting! If a woman pouted he was gaurenteed to fold sooner or later. He just decided to save them time and give in,

"So you want me to be... a male model?" he chuckled a little bit and was about to agree before she drew the connection. His eyes widened, "W-what?! You want me to be a male model... for a female porn mag?"

Lady Midday although a business woman, knew the value of money, and she liked to make sure that the money stayed in her bank accounts rather than be spread out across the different ventures that she had, and on occassions she had done things cheaper than people would expect, but they were never shabbily done.

"Thrift, Cobie, thrift. You must always conserve as much money as possible, setting up the magazine was expensive enough and so I thought I would use this location, it's cheaper and nobody will see the surroundings on the photo." she explained with a shrug.

Letting her lip pout out again, wibbling it slightly when it sounded like Cobie wasn't going to agree now that he knew what the magazine was really going to be like...it wasn't quite as bad as Witches XXX it had just been the first magazine to come to mind like it.

"Its erotic art Cobie not porn." she sighed "It's tasteful and doesn't show anything that your mother would blush at, believe me, I wouldn't want to do anything that would make you uncomfortable."

Cobie had to admit that the idea had some merit. He, his older self at least, had had to deal with finances before and thrift was an excellent way to cut costs. At the same time he was still a little bit on edge about the fact that it was going to be him as the model for a magazine,

"Okay I guess I can understand the location now." he told her before pausing, "But why me? Why would I be a good male model? I doubt very many witches want to see me naked."

Cobie groaned in frustration when she pouted even more. For god's sake he was old enough that pouting shouldn't have this effect on him! But, it did. He sighed a little bit and rubbed at the bridge of his nose,

"Uhuh... what's the target age group?" he asked, a little bit concerned before he scoffed, "That is NOT reassuring. My mother didn't blush at anything, my mother was... a colourful woman."

Lady Midday smirked a little bit, oh it sounded like she was going to be able to reel Cobie in after all, maybe it would be one of the things that strengthened their relationship, whatever that was exactly, she hoped that he would say yes to her, after all, she didn't like being refused anything.

Being the princess of hell you got used to getting things your own way.

"Oh? You don't think so?" she smirked "Cobie you're a very attractive young man, I can say so myself, I know for a fact women would be interested, you're a young, rough and ready kind of guy, very attractive."

Hugging her arms around his neck, Lady Midday purred happily into Cobie's ear, knowing that he was probably going to say yes now, but she was happy to see he was. Even if she knew that it was going to happen.

"Target age group is late teens to late twenties, although, there's no telling who's going to buy it." she shrugged "Please Cobie, you'll be doing me a big big favour." she purred, walking her fingers seductively up his chest to cup his chin.

Cobie was going to cave and they both knew it but he didn't want to cave too easily because if he did she might think she would be able to get away with asking anything of him. And that just wasn't the case. He was pretty easy going but as soon as she pushed for something that he saw as too much he'd stop instantly and not even she would be able to make him do it. It would be quite a shock to her,

"You think people would buy it for pictures of me? Well... you're money in this I guess." he teased lightly, smirking as he did so, purring at the attention and compliments she was giving him, "Oh really now? Well you are pretty convincing Lilim..."

Wrapping his arms around her waist instinctively when she wrapped her arms around his neck he chuckled a little bit. Yeah she knew he was going to agree,

"Ooooo well your sales might dip or grow due to the students and former students of my older self. I wonder how they'll take seeing his younger form?" he chuckled a little bit before smirking, "Oh I can't say no to a face like that... what do you want me to do?"

Lady Midday was glad that Cobie was finally going to agree to the shoot, it was just a combination of the flattering, physical contact and the fact that he probably had wanted to do something like this anyway because it was something that would flatter his ego no end when the magazine went on sale.

"I'm convincing? I'm glad, otherwise my years of training have been wasted. Besides, I'm telling the truth in this one case Cobie, definately more attractive than Cobalt." she smirked and wandered over to the camera.

Of course Lilim knew that the students of Hogwarts were likely to crush on a professor like Cobalt, and that this would more than likely drive her sales through the roof, but she didn't tell Cobie that she had planned to have him in the magazine all along, there was no other model.

"They'll probably think that I've photo shopped the older version of yourself," she smirked "Oh, I know you can't that's why I pulled it. Now, what's your limits?" Lilim asked, now very factual and business like "What do you feel comfortable doing?"

Cobie chuckled a little bit. Oh this woman was the devil in disguise. Oh. Wait. No she didn't need a disguise but she was the devil. He grinned a little bit and shook his head,

"Oh woman you'll be the end of me. But you'll make me enjoy it too so thanks." he teased her with a wink, "You know all the right things to say to me don't you? Didn't think I was that easy to read."

The students at Hogwarts were going to get their hands on this and his older version was never going to hear the end of it most likely. That just made this whole thing seem better to him. Letting Cobalt get embaressed was something he was more than happy to do,

"Oh he is going to get hell for this!" he laughed, "Can you imagine the look on Charlotte's face when she realised all of her friends are hiding pictures of her dad's younger form?"

He laughed again before shrugging a little bit with a grin,

"Limits? I don't really have limits Lilim." he smirked crookedly, "I'm a wetboy and my mother was a whore. You'd be surprised what you find comfortable after that."

Lady Midday grinned crookedly and she thought that this was going to be one of the bonding factors for the two of them, they were able to joke together whereas other people would be able to only irritate her or suck up to her in an attempt to get something, but when someone fed on souls, that wasn't so bad.

"Of course I will, it's because I like you you see Cobie darling, if I didn't, well, you'd know about it." with a small chuckle Lady nodded her head and she smirked "Of course I know what to say to you Cobie, for someone as old as me, everyones easy to read."

With a little laugh Lady Midday thought about Charlotte's expression, the poor girl was going to be mortified! But oh well, she would learn to deal with it, maybe she would enjoy it secretly herself, although she had better not let Viktor catch her with an issue.

"I hope that she's suitable embarrassed, although most of her friends seem to be male so...I would be worried if they bought this magazine."

Taking out a white shirt, Lilim snapped her fingers and the lights were turned on by the water, lake scene, and she smirked a little bit, tossing the shirt to Cobie as she did so; "Very well then, wear this, unbuttoned, and step into the water, we're going to get you nice and wet."

Cobie chuckled a little bit, this was going to be one hell of a story to laugh about with Cobalt later. Kind of made sense that they were the best of friends considering what he was made out of, he supposed. He laughed,

"Oh I bet I would know about it sharpish." he agreed before smirking, "For example... you know how sexy I find an older woman."

Oh it would be the most embaressing thing for Cobalt and Charlotte if some of Charlotte's male friends got their hands of these pictures. Of course he'd feel a little weird about it too,

"Yeah that would be a little bit weird even if the embaressment factor for Charlotte and Cobalt would be great." he agreed before catching the shirt. He waved his wand and it replaced his own top, unbuttoned. He stepped into the water, waist height, and shivered, "It's cold on purpose isn't it?"

Lady Midday's eyes flashed happily when Cobie said that he liked older women, of course she knew that, but she was in no hurry to get into bed again with him, last time she had almost lost a breast to his teeth he was getting so into it. Shaking her head she smirked softly.

"You know anyone would think you were trying to make a pass at me." she smirked "But yes I understand your desire for older women, too bad you've not found one to settle down with yet."

Smiling lightly she gently patted Cobie on the shoulder and she realised that maybe if she did find out it would be a sort of payback for her, for what she had done to him, even if it was in a little bit of a jokey way. But it would also show her what she's missing.

"Make sure you strike your best pose, show her what she's missing, and place a copy around the bakery for her to see." she smirked softly "Yes, it is cold on purpose." Lady Midday smirked evilly "Now give me a smouldering look..."

Holding up the camera she got ready to snap a photo.

Cobie could tell by her body language that his comment had stirred some interest. But at the same time she seemed perfectly happy with not pushing their relationship to that point again. Considering he'd almost mauled her in his animalistic enthusiasm before this was unsurprising,

"Oh really now? I'm sure you'd be flattered but decline if that was the case." he joked with her before chuckling a little bit, "Even when I find one who wants me I'm going to be too restless to do the whole 'stay at home' thing."

He had absolutely no idea what kind of pose he was supposed to be doing right now apart from the 'smouldering look'. Chuckling a little bit at the thought he struck a pose, looking over his shoulder at the camera with his best 'smouldering look'. It hadn't failed him before but maybe it looked better on Cobalt with his ruggedness? Nah, youthfulness wins every time over ruggedness.

Lady Midday laughed softly, she had to agree with Cobie that there was very little that she would consider appealing about a relationship with a human, one night maybe a fling of course but she was a demon, and she hadn't ever thought that it would be possible to have a relationship with a human when she could have her pick over most demons she came across.

"Well I dont know, it would depend upon how compelling an offer you made me, I could have anything and anybody I wished, why would I choose you?" she asked, a little bit confused herself before she spluttered out a laugh "Imagine you, a stay at home dad. I'd explode in laughter."

Grinning she took several photos and she then pulled a leaver and rain began to fall on Cobie, she smirked and then instructed;

"That was great now, we're going for sad melancholy, think of dead kittens or something. Just a few more shots in the water then we can dry you off." she grinned "Bare with me."

Cobie chuckled a little bit when Lilim asked why she would want him over anyone else that she could have. It was a good question but he didn't really have an answer. If he turned out to be another notch on her bedpost he could live with that, he thought,

"Well I'm quite good at persuading people but I know that you are too. The fact that I'm here doing this shows that fact very nicely I think." he agreed before laughing a little bit, "You just have to look at Cobalt and take away teaching. Sad really."

When it started to rain on him he shivered a little bit. Of course she would use ice water. Just the kind of person she was,

"Alright..." he muttered before grimacing, "I hate the rain..."

Adopting one of those sad, thoughtful, looks that all the muggle teen idols seemed to be sporting today, Cobie looked at the camera. Using a little bit of magic he even managed to make his eyes shine expressively.

Lady Midday raised an eyebrow when he said that he was good at persuading people, he was good, but he wasn't as good as her, and as a result she was always going to be able to worm her way into things that he perhaps could not.

Then a rather compelling idea struck her and she smirked her cat like smile, cocking her head to one side she stopped taking photo's.

"Have you ever thought about coming into business with me?" she asked softly "But, on your last comment, the reason I would be exploring a relationship with you is because I like you, but also, it would be a novelty. I've never had a relationship with a human."

Taking a few more shots, Lilim smiled and turned off the rain, he was very good at this and she knew she had made the right choice in electing him for the first edition. Throwing him a warm fuzzy towel Lady Midday placed the camera down.

"Now, where shall we put you next? You have any ideas?"

Cobie could tell that Lilim was mentally going over the fact that no matter how good at persuading he was, she was better. He'd lived long enough to know that envy and jealousy were useless emotions so he didn't let it bother him. When she gave him a cat-like smile, something that instantly made him cautious, he chuckled,

"Depends which part of your businesses I'd be joining." he told her honestly before smiling a little bit, "I'm not thrilled about being a novelty but I like you too. It would be a good reason for us to at least try."

When she turned off the rain he thanked her quickly before towelling off. After a moment he got annoyed and just magiced himself dry,

"Mmmm not sure... maybe a classroom setting to pla on the fact that I'm a teacher?" he suggested before chuckling, "Or if we're going for bad boy style I can modify my wetboy greys."

Lady Midday had not meant to offend with the comment about him being a novelty, she had only meant to be truthful with him however he didn't think that a novelty was a good thing. She supposed if she was called one she wouldn't think it was a good thing either, perhaps she should apologise for that.

"Well there are many different ones that I am sure would appeal to you, they aren't just boring desk jobs but...enough to get you away from the bakery for some time." she smirked softly

Running her hands through her hair she sighed softly; "I didn;t mean to offend by calling you a novelty, actually, it's rather exciting, when you've lived as long as me, nothing is new any more. So it's a compliment if anything."

After a few moments of though Lady Midday nodded her head and looked around the room, there was a blackboard over on one of the walls, and she pushed a desk with her fingertip, sending it moving across the room in front of the board.

"I think we'll go for the teacher angle, and, maybe this will be the article feature on you, about your teaching. If that is alright with you?" she asked with a wink.

Cobie chuckled a little bit. He knew that she hadn't meant to offend him by calling him a novelty and he hadn't really been offended. After all it was just one of those thoughts that everyone had from time to time. The difference was that Lilim, being a demon, felt no shame in saying them aloud whenever she wanted to,

"Yes well the bakery and teaching? That's my older self. Right now I am either going to become a wetboy fulltime again or work for you." he smirked slightly, "So wow me and I'll work for you."

He nodded to her, waving off her concerns easily, "Don't worry about it. I knew what you meant and that's what matters. Wasn't seriously offended anyway."

Chuckling a little bit, he moved over to the little classroom set up. Trying to find where to pose, he sat down on the edge of the desk, looking a little stern,

"Stern and sexy teacher?" he asked before smirking, "Or fun loving and sexy teacher?"

Lady Midday smirked when he said he was going to become a wetboy full time again and she was glad that he was going to be going into that kind of business, after all, that was the business she had intended him to go into with her as well. Only, a little different this time, more business focused.

"Wow you hmmm?" she asked with a devilish smirk on her lips, of course, she had lots of different businesses and not all of them kosher, she wanted Cobie to help her out with one "I have a business dealing in...loans. Loans to major businesses, and major businesses sometimes don't like to pay you back, I'd like you to ensure that I do get my money."

Her eyes were glittering with mirth at the idea of having someone who would ensure that her loans were collected, plus the interest, but she was also glad that Cobie was not offended by what she had said to him before;

"If that doesn't float your boat you could become an excellent member of my new business venture into computing, you could pencil push." she smirked

Humming she looked at Cobie tilting her head to one side, picking up her camera again, Lady Midday nodded her head and decided she liked the stern look he was doing right now.

"I'll take the stern teacher."

He could tell that his decision to be a wetboy again, letting his older self play house, pleased her. To be honest it pleased him. The only reason Cobalt, the older half, wasn't still a wetboy was because Charlotte didn't want him to be one anymore.

When she suggested her job for him he paused to think about it for a few moments. Essentially she wanted to hire him as an enforcer to make sure her interests were protected,

"Mmmm I quite like the sound of that..." he admitted before holding up a finger to get her attention, "I accept on the condition that I can still pick up contracts for kills as well as working for you."

He laughed at the idea of him becoming something of a pencil pusher, right before he stuck his tongue out in distate,

"Oh god no." he groaned, "Let the pencils be pushed by people who've failed at their dreams."

Fixing himself into the stern teacher look, the same one that his older self used in classes, he looked into the camera, once again trying to make his eyes look expressive.
