Background Information:

Alistair had a pretty normal childhood, and has spent his entire life in Australia. Both his parents are muggleborns, which is quite a rare occurrence. His father died when he was four, and his mother has been everything for him ever since. He attained his education in an Australian institute, and has done his graduation in the revolutionary field of the fusion of magic and medical science, inspite of hating the subject, since his mother wanted him to do it. What his interest really lay in was writing, maybe photography, so he contemplated a career in journalism, but his mother declared it out of question. And his mother's word is law for him.

He's a good-natured, amiable person at heart, if slightly cheeky. But people tend to keep away from him, because of a slight social disorder. Alistair can't lie, honesty is not the best policy for him, it is the only policy. He doesn't understand double meaning or sarcasm, since both involve saying something, and meaning something else. So he tends to be unusually blunt, and people find that weird. Talking to him makes anyone feel rejuvenated though, you'd never be able to guess that he was devoid of friends as a child. Moreover, Alistair is an extremely committed person by nature, once he devotes himself to something, he'll give his best, which is why he excelled in Healing although he hated it. Right now, he's in London studying in St. Mungo's, and simultaneously thinking of taking a side-job at a wizarding magazine.
