Background Information:

Ella's parents fell in love during a Triwizard Tournament and they traveled after school together in love. Her mother, Idna, was from a rich and prestigious pureblood family but her father, Macen, was a muggleborn. Despite their differences, they were happy to be in love and after a year they settled for two years in New York City where Ella was born. After her birth they continued to travel until she was eight. For two months they left Ella with her uncle Max, Idna's older brother, to celebrate their anniversary coincidentally the two months ended a week before their daughter's birthday. Floos were undergoing maintenance issues and it became worse as there was an angry storm and the appartion wards were high up to protect the home and so her parents used muggle transportation - cars. Idna could drive but the roads were too slippery and then a fretful bunny dared out onto the road that fateful night.

Ella lost her parents and for a year went mute. Max let her mourn over the lose of her parents but kept her up to speed on her studies that she was missing. The week she'd found out of her parent's death she'd had a magical slip-up causing the glass in Max's collections room to break simultaneously. Max was able to fix it but damage was done and Max was glad to see Ella had magic in her. On her tenth birthday, he took her to get her first wand - a willow wand, ten and one-half inches long, core is phoenix tailfeather. He taught her how to use little bits and bought her books to learn more about her culture. He was glad when she began laughing again at the silly creatures that she came to know about. Ella values Max to be the extract of father she had. She has healed and is a happier girl who never wastes the opportunity to smile and loves teasing people. After her years at Salem Wizarding School, she become a Healer and applied for a job at St. Mungos.
