Duelling OWL (Fifth Year)

Briony filed into the Great Hall and she looked down rhe list of all the students who were supposed to be in attendance for this exam, as they arrived she made sure that she ticked off every one of them and issued them with a copy of the written exam, the practical exam would take place in a few moments after they had completed the written exam, after all, the art of duelling is not just in what you remember it is in how well you perform the spell.

Sighing a little bit she clapped to command the attention of the hall;

"Greetings Fifth year students! This is the first part of your duelling exam, you will have five multiple choice questions to answer, which will present 50% of your marks, then, the second part will be conducted afterwards, a practical examination of a spell of my choosing. You may begin the test now."

Lucas entered the Exam Hall with a sigh. Hopefully the first part of the Dueling Exam wasn't very hard now; he had been studying the whole night, and there were circles under his eyes.

At professor Romain's instruction, he started to answer the Exam. He looked down at his paper and read the first question:

Lucas quickly answered the question, "B) Finite Incantatem," and went on to the next question.

Briony looked at the hourglass as it counted down, there were very few sand grains left in the timer, and as they ran out completely a soft bell echoed through the hall, signalling for the students to stop writing, and for their quills to be put down. Hopefully Lucas would have done well in this exam, although she didn't see him write that much in the time he had. Remembering the physical part of the examination, Briony shook her head, it seemed as if her request for that to the Ministry had been denied, there would be no physical exam now...maybe later in the year.

"This examination is now over. The physical part as stated will occur at a later date, this will be owlled to you sometime in the near future so you can prepare." Briony stated cooly, standing up from her seat she gathered her books and papers swiftly, before nodding to the students "Your results will be posted up in the entrance hall shortly, well done for your efforts."
