Mikhail grew up in and around Russia, always traveling around with his father and mother. His mother was dead by the time Mik was eight, and his father dumped him off on his grandparents in Germany. He attended Durmstrang when he wasn't traveling and living with his father every summer. Finally, when he graduated from Durmstrang, he followed in his father's footsteps by traveling around to take pictures of different scenic locations that people had asked for.
When that didn't please him, he came back and took up some positions in his favorite school. Because he traveled around a lot when he wasn't in school, Mik isn't an open person to anyone. He is usually stiff, hard to talk to, and barely lets any emotion leak out of his personage. He is a very hard person to get along with because of this.
