Helping Hand (Rhian and Elliot)

Elliot chuckled and shook his head at how she could not understand exactly why she couldn't see how it was. He preferred when people were different, quirky, and kept his attention.

At her mentioning games, he smiled brightly, excited that she was interested in the whole idea of Quidditch. He stood up, following her movement and blurted,

"Tell me where you want to meet and it'll be a date"

Rhian stood and placed some money on the table for her food. Standing so close to Elliot did funny things to her heart, making it rocket against her rib cage. She swallowed at his mention of a date.

Date! She'd never so much as been alone with a guy, let alone on a date. Being home taught didn't allow for such frivolities, and she'd been so caught up in trying to provide her sister with the emotional support she'd never had.

Biting her lip, she looked up at him with hope. "How about Saturday afternoon? Maybe...the Leaky Cauldron?" She hadn't the faintest idea where they'd be going, but figured it was a safe ground.

Elliot shook his head at her suggestion. Every date idea was too normal, too safe and too similar to this place already. He had a new plan, excited that Rhian had agreed. A date was something that he hadn't done in a while, and with her, well he'd already been more interested in her than he'd ever been for another.

"We can meet outside of this place, sure" he chuckled "but as for where we're going that'll be a surprise. Trust me!"

He did something spontaneous and kissed her cheek before rushing off remembering he had to go to meet some teammates for Quidditch practice.

"See ya!"
