Charina entered the Leaky Cauldron with a sigh and immediately sat down at the bar. After the last attack from the Rebels, she hadn't heard much from Aurelia, and pretty much everyone else. Not even Ophelia, who she had seen a few weeks ago in Diagon Alley, had gotten in contact with her. It was like everyone was ignoring her. Even the few people in the streets who recognized her as a Rebel merely stared at her with terrified eyes.

Charina buried her head in her hands, until the person on the counter cleared her throat. "Are you going to order anything, or are you here to just sit down?" the lady asked. Charina nearly snorted, but she shook her head. "Butterbeer, please," she said and placed just the right amount of Galleons on the counter. The lady took it and left, coming back a few minutes later with a huge mug.

Charina sighed and took a long sip from the mug when the lady left. She had been different ever since. Her robes, which were usually black, long, and tattered were replaced by dark green ones that were shorter and newer. She had kept all her daggers in the basement of her house, and any trace of being a Rebel was gone. She had also been much quieter; not speaking unless spoken to, and not fighting unless provoked. Charina didn't whip out her wand anymore and cause chaos during her trips to Muggle London.

But, of course, a fire still burned in her heart. She still desired to cause mayhem and to make the Germans pay for what they did to Britain during the war. Although that was the least of her worries, because she had read from the Prophet that a disease like no other was spreading out. She felt that this was something serious; hell, even her great aunt Gemma, who was usually immune to a lot of sicknesses, had this disease! Of course this was serious!

Charina took another long sip of her butterbeer and was prepared to continue her train of thoughts, but was interrupted by the door opening. She breathed deeply. Hopefully whoever just came in wasn't some Ministry official who had tracked her down and would bring her to Azkaban. She was lucky enough to escape Azkaban, but she still had a feeling she would go there soon enough.
