Background Information:

James was brought up in Amsterdam and lived well there with his parents. His father was forceful but not too harsh and his mother was loving and doting but not overly so. The end result was that James had an almost picture perfect childhood. At school, James excelled in Charms above all other lessons. Without even trying he was better than all of his classmates.
