Something to Do (open)

Ali had been really bored recently hadn't had anything to do so she decided that tonight was no better than any other night for a few drinks. She had left Jenna with the Nanny. God did she love nannies, she could come and go as she pleased.

Walking up to the bar she ordered a shot of the strongest stuff they had. She quickly drank that one down and ordered another one.

Walking over to the nearest table she sat down. She was really lonely these days and was really missing her husband now that Jaycie was off to school. Granted Jenna was at home but how much communication can you have with a 3 year old.

Sitting at the table she was just was watching everyone around her.

Iris looked over at the woman, made up her mind and went to sid beside her, "Hello."

Ali eyed this new girl that had walked up to her she could tell right away that this was another Siren.

Taking a sip of her drink.

"Hello to you too, I am Alianna" She smiled as she looked at this young siren.

"What brings you in tonight?"

"Just wanted a drink, you child?" she asked, though she looked older she had to be younger. not many sirens were older than her.

Alianna felt a little insulted when she said you child.

"Felt like it was a good night to drink. And who are you too call me a child." Ali glared at this girl

"I didn't mean to offend you, it's just, i call everyone child. i assume you are younger than me." Iris sighed, of course she was offended, she did look older.

Ali flagged down a waitress and ordered a couple more shots and when the waitress came back with the she drank one down and continued to play with the other one.

Ali had to laugh when the girl assumed how old she was. "Well honey you should never assume anything about anyone, I am older than I even care to remember." Ali laughed..

"But for technical purposes I am only 35."

Iris laughed, she was very old as well. "well for tecnacal perposes I'm 22 but in reality i'm around 200"

Alianna downed her last shot of whiskey.

"Well when you have a child who is 12 and another who is 3, 35 seems a better age." Ali smiled

"So where is your clan from?" Alianna asked as she flagged down the waitress for some more drinks.

Iris looked up at the woman. "I wasn't born in a clan, my mother was outlawed." She sighed sh didn't know why of course. "Like her i just travel around." Iris then turned to the bar tender and ordered a few shots.

The waitress finally returned with the drinks and she downed one of the shots.

"Your mother was outlawed, how very interesting, I can understand that. I myself was banned from my clan."

"So why was your mother outlawed?"

Iris sighed she didn't know "I never found out she died during birth, my father told me when I was still a child, before he went to battle." Iris looked at the woman she was banned from her clan, "Why were you banned?" she looked at the woman and asked the question that was bugging her for the longest time. "How old do I look? I never know I always see myself as so much older."

Alianna was sipping her drink listening to Iris talk away.

'I am really sorry about your mother, it must have been really hard on you."

When Iris was asking her specific questions about her being banned.

"Well my parents were like the leaders of the clan, and it did not look well upon them for their daughter to be with a Wizard." Alianna just stated it plainly like it was no big deal.

Alianna could not believe that this woman wanted to know how old she looked.

"Does it really matter, men will still fall for you anyway." Alianna said.

"I would say at least 25, like me" Alianna said with a smile.

Iris nodded at Alianna's story, she understood some clans didn't like wizards.

She was always wondering if men would fall for her. "Thanks." She said drowning her last shot, "Well I better go." she said standing up.
