Apprentice Places

As some students are now third years, it has become a viable option to give the opportunity to become an apprentice to a professor, who will teach your student things that they would otherwise not learn in class!

It is completely optional as to how many students a professor takes on, if any, but when a professor has decided on a number of apprentices they would be willing to accept the third years may post here to ask to be granted a position with that professor. The professor decides if they wish to take them on ^^

Students lower than third year will not be accepted as apprentices.

Why you want the position: (Duelling) Tess would like this position because she wants to become more confident in her defensive and offensive spells considering that with the recent attacks she finds herself unprepared and defenseless. She knows that learning under Headmistress Romain she will get stronger in mental (knowing newer spells), emotional (self-confidence), and physical self (endurance and fighting strength). And while she might seem a little shy and closed off, she knows she needs this kick to move forward and be successful in the magical world.

Why you want the position: It's not on the list but Lucia and I talked about Parker becoming a healer's apprentice. He had thoughts of wanting to become a healer and wants to be sure of his decision and learn more by observing what she does and by helping her.

Yes, there is a spot for apprentices to help in the infirmary, but only one, and Parker has been hired

Why you want the position: Tabi would like to take a slot in potions. Tabi is the daughter of a potions master and has learned many things from him. She is a very good brewer and would like to be the best she can be. She knows she is not perfect but she wants to be.

Why you want the position: (Astronomy) Ivano was fascinated by the night sky. He is an eager learner when he wants to be and wants to learn more about the this universe and others possibly out there.

Why you want the position: The past few years I've been struggling with controlling my emotions, and one of the main problems being anger issues. Also, wishes to possibly be an auror someday and being able to protect my mind from dark wizards would be a useful skill to have.

I would like to be an apprentice in Dark Arts and Psychology if you will allow me to do two. If not both, then Psychology is preferred choice. Both would be wonderful though, and since my character has a genius level intelligence, I believe he could manage two apprenticeships. Since he is a weapons specialist, he wants to learn Dark Arts curses, powerful ones, and the Psychology of the human mind so he can cause the most fear with his weapons. Muahahaha!

Add Ancient Runes, and Charms to the list of apprenticeships as well, please. Because of his weapons work, both would make sense. And he does want to learn. Any of the apprenticeships available, he will leap at the chance to study. Those are his four preferences though.
