Butterbeers With A Bestie (Keiba and Humphrey)

Like they had arranged in the abandoned tower, Humphrey found a booth at The Three Broomsticks. He walked in, and found one in a comfortable corner of the pub. So he decided to get two butterbeers for them, and left his sketchbook at the booth table to save it for them. He walked back to the seat with a butterbeers, and took a small sip of his. "Mmmmm. Butterbeers are my favorite part of Hogsmeade. Absolutely delicious."

While he was waiting, he decided to draw in his sketchbook. Instead of drawing scenery, like he usually did, he decided to draw Keiba. Oddly, since he got back to Hogwarts, he has been slightly nervous around Keiba. She wanted to stay friends for now though, and didn't want to date him. Yet, at least. He decided his mission for the rest of the year was to convince her to go out with him. Keiba was a better fit for him than Charlotte, who he had tried to date his first year here.

So, he sketched her with charcoal. Then found some of his pastel colored charcoal, located the one that was a very light brown, that was closest to her skin tone. Humphrey started filling in the charcoal outline with the closest thing he had to her skin color. Next, he found a soft pinkish red charcoal stick, and colored in her lips. The toughest thing to draw had been the eyes. He thought it was fairly close, but he knew he couldn't get the color right. They were filled in with a blue, but it didn't have the shiny, reflective quality hers did. The shade wasn't quite right either. Picking out a ligher blue, he went over the eyes again. There, at least it is the right color now.
