Background Information:

Luther has been a genius from an early age and excelled at school in almost all areas of study. The only failing grade he ever got during his time at Durmstrang was in flying, a lesson he had absolutely no aptitude for at all.

As a tactical and strategic genius he was snatched up by the German Ministry and set to work as an auror. When the German Ministry decided to arm up he became a soldier for the Ministry, joining a three man squad with Richard Romain and Leon Becker. As the squad's tactical element he was away from the worst of the fighting but he still pulled his weight.

After the team was broken up by Richard's defection and Leon's political career, Luther rose through the ranks to become the Commander of the German Wizarding Armed Forces. During an attack by Romanian rebels, Luther lost both of his arms below the elbow and had to have them replaced by metal replicas. These metal limbs respond to his magic and act like regular arms but he resents the fact that they make him something less human.
