Annika comes from a middle class family of no real importance, but it's her dream to somehow leave an imprint on both the magical and Muggle world. As a child she adored ballet and was trained to intermediate level before she joined Durmstrang. She still loves dancing alone sometimes, alone. She loves Muggle rock music

She's traveled to London when she was six, before the war began. She's also been around a bit in Austria because of her father's work (he is a traveling journalist for his Muggle news firm), and lives in a villa in the suburbs of Köflach.

Protective over her little brother, she once imploded a bunch of trash cans next to the group of boys bullying Alek in preschool. (That was her first sign of magic and she was sent home and grounded. Oh well.)

She's really into philosophy and loves thinking out how other people think, getting to know people, and prides herself in cooking. She's always wanted to play the violin but somehow hasn't really gotten around to it. She's really optimistic and has a fascination towards ice.
