A Rare Meeting (Evangeline and Eric)

Evangeline had decided that, for once, she was going to actually leave the Department of Mysteries and her comfortable sanctury that lay within, however she hoped that because of this she might be able to make some more friends within the workplace.

After all...she only had a few friends and most of them were at some level still scared of her, and to be honest she didnt blame them, she was heavily involved in death after all.

Sitting down on one of the many chairs that littered the main canteen of the Ministry, Evangeline merely looked straight ahead at the tables in front of her, not actually being able to eat or drink anything anyway.

With a small sigh she crossed her arms and decided that while she was alone she would try and do her job of ferrying souls from where she was sat.

Eric stretched his arms and put his hand on the back of his neck, rolling it to relieve some of the stiffness he felt within it. He felt his stomach growl deeply. He smirked and got up from his seat. He had been pushing papers all day, and he was getting bored. He wasn't ungrateful for the peace, but he did like to go a training room to hone his skills in combat.

But now, food was most important. He walked from his office to. The canteen. He saw a young woman there. Evangeline Webb, he remembered her from the Ministry Meeting. He ordered a simple sandwich made his way to. A table next to her. She seemed to. Be focused on something at the moment, so he'd just wait until she was done to get tot know her.

Evangeline looked up from where she was staring and saw that there was now a man sitting next to her, or close to her at least, flicking her eyes over him she quickly recognised him as Eric Stryker, the Head Auror from the Ministry meeting that she had attended as a bit of a loose end.

It seemed that he was content to sit in silence, she wondered why that was, and she merely tilted her head to one side, thinking that maybe he was waiting for her to say something to him? Blinking at him for a few moments, she merely asked;

"Yes?"
