Transfiguration Exam - Sixth Years Empty Re: Transfiguration Exam - Sixth Years

Post by Guest Sun Dec 02, 2012 12:58 pm

As of late, Charity had mostly stuck to the Hufflepuff dorms. She had not seen her one and only friend Charlotte in a long time and though she missed the sweet-hearted Slytherin she could remember some of the nastier Hufflepuff's (yes, that's right, not all Hufflepuff's are sweet and innocent!) picking on her for being friends with the so called 'enemy'. She had insisted that Charlotte was nice but had avoided her since then.

And it was a good thing too, the Hufflepuff had decided, for she had time to study for the exams. She loved Hogwarts and even though she'd been there for a year she wanted to finish her last year of schooling there. She'd learnt so much in the past year and was very pleased with the fact that she understood what was going on. Moving into the hall, Charity immediately took her seat at the front and started the exam.

Transfiguration Exam - Sixth Years Empty Re: Transfiguration Exam - Sixth Years

Airen entered the exam hall. He dared not look up at the professor. He knew how intimidating he could be. He took his seat and started the exam. He whipped out his inkwell, quill, and parchment. He had missed so much due to the ritual that he had been forced to live in the library just to catch up. He then spent the rest of that time studying like a possessed man just to prepare. He felt himself getting worked up. He sighed and breathed deeply. He needed to keep his head if he was going to pass.

The summer was coming, and with it, big things would happen in him and in his world. He had already gained another scar, this one hidden. Over the summer, he would throw himself into studying, documenting, and rebuilding a piece of himself. His heritage, you could say. But for now, he had to get his exam finished.

Practical Section;

After completeing the written section of the exam, Charlotte had found that hard but the pracitcal section looked so long and tedious she didn't even want to begin it. Sighing lightly she took up the needle and looked at it, the first few steps weren't so difficult, first year stuff so she focused her thoughts onto the change she wanted to happen, lifted her wand and tapped the matchstick watching it glisten effortlessly into a needle.

It would have been easy to get the match to a stick insect being that they both looked like each other, but she supposed the exam was not going to go easy on him. Biting her lip Charlotte tapped on the match again and tried to visualise the change between the two objects, it was harder injecting life into something else. But when she opened her eyes a rather stiffly moving stick insect lay on her desk.

Making a rather disgusted face she ushered the insect off the desk and she placed it on the floor she couldn't transfigure an insect into a chair while on the desk. Biting her lip she took a deep breath and visulised it again, thinking about the molecules changing and shifting, until she opened her eyes and there was a wooden chair, the same colour as the insect.

Transfiguration Exam - Sixth Years Empty Re: Transfiguration Exam - Sixth Years

Post by Tabi Ann Prewett Mon Dec 17, 2012 9:52 am

Tabi walked into her Transfiguration exam and looked at the assignment. Someone the questions it her at a blank, but she would do the best that she could. Many of these she wasn't here when they did them, but she had practiced a bunch of things where she had been staying. She placed the written test in front of her.

Question One;
If a material is a 'magical null' then you cannot Transfigure it into something else or Transfigure a material into it. True or fales?

Tabi got finished with the written portion which she was was a little difficult on some of the questions but she did the best with what she could remember. Then it was on to the practical portion. Oh my god she thought, is it really necessary to have us transfigure 6 times. But she growled a little and began with the first one.

She pointed her wand at the match and thought really hard and said the spell and right in front of her was a needle. Well that one was pretty easy she thought, now to change this into a stick insect. She always did like the stick insect she used this a lot in her room because she thought the stick guy was cute. Using the appropriate spell and there in front of her sat the stick insect. Now changing the Stick into a chair was causing her a little more problems.

She could not seem to get the chair to form correctly. So she skipped over that part and just transfigured the stick into a spoon because that was easier for her. Once she had the spoon transfiguring it into a butter knife was really easy.

For some reason Tabi was having trouble transfiguring the bigger items, which could be why she was having trouble with her animagas form. She gave up and set back down staring at her butter knife.
