The Durmstrang Ball (Open to all Durmstrang Students and Professors)

Alex smiled at Missy and nodded " Okay, I'm such a cry baby" Alex laughed as she wiped her tears away she had no idea why she was more of a crier than most people she sighed.

" We'll have to go inside the hall soon so we don't miss any of the dance" Alex said knowing she looked like a mess she laughed as she could picture herself with make up all in her face she laughed silently.

Vladimir, although not being one for balls, had decided that he might as well go to see if he could make some new friends, having only met a few people, one of whom didn't go to this school, so he was rather alone, he hadn't seen Yeva for a while, and was beginning to wonder about the safety of his friend.

Walking into the hall, he looked arund and blinked lightly, it looked amazing! Rushing over to the tea table in the middle, he picked up a cup cake in the shape of a mushroom, and licked the frosting from the top, before bowing to the Highmaster, and looking around for someone that he could join.

There was a boy from Verstand house that seemed to be on his own, so Vlad walked up to him with a small nervous smile on his lips;

"Mind if I share this lingering space with you?" he joked.

Raven grinned a little when she saw the twins enter, and Konig come over to her, he looked lovely in his suit, like her always did, and he knew just what to say to make her feel in the mood to keep her razors blood free for the evening, which was a hard feet to complete.

Bowing to him when he came closer, Raven grinned wickedly;

"Well hello to you too, it seems that we both look good in suits this ball." she chuckled "Anyone here that I could terrorize in class next year?" she asked playfully.

Tipping her hat at Viktor, she tilted her head at the strange woman who entered, so this was the woman who had changed her little Viktor from a bad guy to a good guy? This immedietly meant that Raven disliked the woman, and she scowled at her.

"Is that Viktor's little girlfriend?" she asked venemously.

Viktor's smile grew wide and then wider still as Niobe entered the hall. For him, her entrance almost made everything move more slowly, so that he could savour the sight of her for longer. Moving closer to her, Viktor bowed low to her before taking one of her hands and kissing the back of it. He looked up at her with a happy smile,

"I'm so glad that you could make it Niobe!" he greeted her happily "I would have found this hall empty and cold without you here my angel of music."

Noticing the look that Niobe was being sent by Raven, he took Niobe's hand and led her over to the drinks table,

"Would you like something to drink?"

Raven always did wear the top hat well and the ring-master style suit she wore did little to hide her more feminine features. He grinned back at her as he slowly straightened from his bow. He hoped that Raven would be able to hold herself back tonight, as the people at this ball were all germans, unlike the last ball,

"Ah but do you know the difference between when you wear a suit and when I wear a suit?" he smirked, "You make it look gooood! As for torture victims... I mean... students, I'm not sure. Let's see if we can't find one with a weak will to bend and break."

When Konig noticed Viktor talking in a most romantic way to the woman, he had to agree with Raven that she was obviously his girlfriend. He nodded stiffly,

"Yes, Niobe, her name is." he shook his head a little bit, "An actress of some kind, I hear."

Vikki turned and looked happily at all of the people at the ball, it looked like it was going to be a grand success and she hoped that perhaps in the future that there could be more tea parties like this, as it seemed to be doing a good job of bringing people together and making new friends.

The only people who didn't seem to be getting along together, were the staff, as they were clearly divided into three, her and the Doctor, Raven and Konig and Viktor and his girlfriend, whoever that was. Nobody else from the staff had seemed to bother showing up.

Smiling lightly at the Doctor Vikki grinned at him, when he said that she looked beautiful.

"Why thank you, I wanted a dress with cupcakes on...but they didn't have any...nor did they have one with hearts on...so I had to get this blue one." she sighed.

The Doctor raised his hands higher, as if open to embrace Vikki, as he stood in front of her. The blue dress did make her look very beautiful. Not for the first time he found himself cursing her memory loss. It meant that she didn't remember that she loved him as well. His arms dropped down to his sides,

"Ah well blue is a very lovely colour still though isn't it?" he smiled a little bit before smirking, "Why couldn't you just attach cupcakes to the dress with sticking charms or something?"

Taking her small, dainty, hand in one of his, he bowed to her. On his rise, he kissed the back of her hand and smiled happily at her,

"Would you like to dance?"

Keaira nodded slightly. "Thank you, Alex," she said softly.

She shook her head. "I don't have a date, but I am hoping to see Terry again. But I won't be ignoring you, though, should he come," she said calmly.

Alex then rose and said she would be back soon. Keaira nodded and started looking around. People were chatting and socialising in ways Keaira had a hard time understanding. She looked at the Sweeney, and then away again. She just wanted to understand.

Alex retuned. "Refreshed your mind?" Keaira asked lightly, offering a try of a smile.

Her smile quickly turned true, though, when Terry showed up. He took her hand and kissed it.

"Hey to you too. And it was all right. Had a fun fight with British people. Though it was weird too," Keaira said.

With weird, she was of course thinking of the fact that she had killed someone. Corinne Girard or something. She'd tell Terry soon enough, but he ball was a bit wrong scenario. It bothered her. Not the murder, but it bothered her that it didn't bother her that she'd killed someone. She didn't spend too much time thinking of it though.

"This is Alex, if you haven't met..."

When Keaira said that, Alex rose and left them quickly. Keaira frowned lightly. "Was it something I said?" she asked.

She then noticed how he was dressed. "Well, you look really good," she said with a soft smile.

Dimitri looked at the boy who had approached him before nodding and tossing out a small grin. "I don't mind at all," he said, waving a hand out. "Choose your lingering space. Better than dancing in my opinion of course." He then held out the hand to the boy. It was his manners, after all, to introduce himself to new people. Whether they be future friends or enemies, he had to be the polite one at first.

"Dimitrius Skaia. In Verstand of course." He said, smiling. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance. And you are?"

Missy placed her arm around Alex and gave her a hug, "I don't care what people say, there is nothing wrong with crying and being upset. I have spent plenty of time crying over that last few months."

Melissa had to laugh a little, "Who would miss us of we didn't go back in the dance, I suppose if I wanted to dance I could do it here in the hall"

Melissa got off the floor and did a little ballet dance. "See I don't even need music." Missy had to laugh.

Alex smiled and hugged Missy back and she smiled as she watched Missy dance Alex smiled and watched Missy.

" Do you know Terry and Kearia?" Alex asked standing up and she grabbed her clutch she fixed her eye liner and laughed " I never thought I'd where make up or a dress" Alex added with a laugh.

Melissa laughed a little as she danced but her dancing stopped abruptly when Alex asked if she knew Terry and Keaira.

"Hmmm, yeah I know them why?"

Missy had not really talked to either one of them since the incident last year. It was really bad the pain she caused and what was it for nothing, Casey up and left her. Now she had nobody.

Alex blinked and stood up " I was just wondering, c'mon" She said she grabbed Missy's hand and lead her into the Durmstrang ball.

She smiled at Kearia and Terry, Alex looked at Missy and smiled " Don't worry, You don't have to talk to them if you don't want to" Alex said she smile and sat back down next to Kearia she sighed and whispered " It had noting to do with what you said or how you said it" Alex said reassuring her with a smile.

Terry felt a little bad when Alex got up and left, he had not meant to ignore her he had just not got around to saying hi.

"I am really sure, it wasn't something that you have said." Terry watched as Alex ran away.

Terry had to smile when Keaira was talking about fighting people and he knew that was the type of thing she like to do. He imagined with her, that it got down right dangerous, but it would not do Terry well enough not to think about it.

When she comment about his dress he had to look down at his clothes, which were very nice.

"Well thank you my dear, I have to add you are very beautiful tonight too."

Terry was about to say something else when he looked up and Alex was back with Missy.

"Hello Alex, Missy" Terry said. He was actually surprised Miss even walked up to them.

Missy was in shock when Alex grabbed her hand and drugged her over to where Keaira and Terry were sitting.

"Alex, no, wait you don't understand, its not a goo...." Missy didn't even get to finish her thought when she was standing in front of both of them.

"Ummm hi" Was all Missy could say when Terry had at lest said her name, so she guessed that was a start.

Missy was hoping a fight didn't start with her being there so she sat down in the chair right next to Alex and tried to watch what was going on around them.

Lucian grinned lightly and inside he thought that he had achoeved his mission in making Aquila blush even more, but thought that he had best stop it now, she had another girl present, and a part of him thought that it wouldn't really be cool for him to embarrass her in front of a potential new friend.

All the talk of hair made Lucian a little out of it, he didn't know much about hair, but instead of fading into the background of the conversation he did what he did best, and became a jokester;

"Well personally I think my hair is the best, look at this masterpeice right here, I didn't know that hair could be this good." he said with a grin.

Looking around, there seemed to be the fair share of drama, there always did seem to be some at balls it was inescapable, but he just tried to ignore it, especiallt when someone went off crying people followed them, he'd had enough of that last time.

Keaira smiled to Terry when he said it probably wasn't because of her. She then smiled even wider and looked down at her dress. It wasn't one she really loved herself. She didn't really care about it, but it was nice to hear anyways. Or at least from him.

"Thank you," she said.

She then blinked as Alex came back, brining Melissa with her. Keaira wasn't sure what she thought of Melissa, but the incident was over and done with. She gave a soft smile to Alex when the girl said that it wasn't something Keaira had said.

"Hello Melissa," she said, never having been one for nicknames. She only shortened Terry's name; it felt so natural.

(OOC: As Myles is not 'real' anymore, and Luka is Keaira's twin, the incident that happened kinda did not happen after all. But we'll just say that Missy and Aira had some bad blood for some weird reason.)

Raven giggled happily and she couldn't wait for the new school year to start, there would be all sorts of fun people around to taunt, and new firsties to teach and make afraid of her, perhaps there would even be some in her class, oh how fun that would be.

"All children are weak, they are content to mill around and cry and cause scenes, even free to have decided their own sexuality, but they are by no means strong." she smirked, knowing that this applied to some people in this hall at this moment, they were 13...and needed to act like it.

Chuckling as she saw someone turn a boy's hair pink, Raven pointed it out to Konig; "He looks better that way."

Her smile dissappearing as the conversation turned back to Niobe. Growling a little as Viktor led her away, he hadn't even talked to her since that troublesome meeting with King.

"An actress, what an idiotic career." she growled "Fancy going to say hello?" Raven smiled wickedly.

Then out of the corner of her eyes she spotted her children, and she smiled ever so slightly, they did look beautiful, much more beautiful than any here, and she tugged Konig along with her, to see them, with a small grin on her lips as she took in her son's outfit.

"We match." she grinned, tipping her hat "You have fun now children, and be sure to cause havok." she chuckled, giving a look to the boy who had accompanied her daughter to the ball, it was not a happy look.

Lucian gasped lightly when he felt himself being tapped on the head, and he heard the charm too late, frowning lightly he reached up and touched his hair, looking between Aquila and Ella, wondering, with one eyebrow raised, what was going on, and what had happened to his hair;

"Do I even want to know what you just did?" he asked still looking between the two girls, unaware that his hair had changed colours, but knowing that something was up when one of the Professors even started to look at him, and he pouted lightly "Were you mean to me?"

Vladimir smiled lightly and stood next to the boy, a small grin on his lips as he looked around the room there seemed to be some interesting people here and he hoped that perhaps in the future he would be able to make thir acquaintence, but for now, he was just happy to stay put.

"Definately better than dancing, I can't dance for anything, I look like a chicken." he smirked taking the other boys hand with a small nod "Nice to meet you Dimitrius, I'm Vladimir Wazowski, Muhe. Perhaps we will have some classes together, what year are you in?"

Niobe smiled happily when Viktor kissed the back of her hand, he was such a gentleman, and she was glad that she had decided to come tonight, in fact, she had decided to come for more than one reason, as she hoped that she would be able to get a glimpse of his elusive brother.

"Well I didn't want to leave you all on your own here! Surrounded by students with nobody to talk to, it looks as if all of the Professors are paired off together actually." she said in a small voice.

When she was led over to the table, Niobe smiled widely and nodded "Please I would love one."

Looking around the hall she spotted who must be Viktors brother, and he did not look happy, nor did the other lady who was with him, and Niobe gulped quickly looking away; "Your brother doesn't look happy, who is that with him?"

Missy was glad that things seemed to be smooth but she wasn't going to push anything with anyone.

"Hay Keaira" She decided to keep it nice and simple

Missy was going to say something else until she noticed that The Sweeney and Lehrer Nickel walked up to them. Sweeney of course ignored them and that was ok with them.
