The Durmstrang Ball (Open to all Durmstrang Students and Professors)

Viktoria has decided, like the Doctor had said that she could, to put on a ball, slash a large tea party for the members of Durmstrang, and hopefully they would all attend, she knew that it was before school time began but hopefully they would come regardless, after all, it was going to be very fun, and they could bring their trunks and stay in school, or go home after the ball.

With a large smile on her lips, Vikki walked around the long table that was covered with cakes, scones, cream and mini sandwiches, and most importantly, there was all different types of tea.

Of course in the corner there was music and there would be dancing in the main part of the hall, although, now she was just waiting for people to turn up, there was one of the more lively songs being played by the band to get people in the mood to dance, and Vikki herself swayed lightly to the beat.

Lucian had decided that walking to the ball through the school was going to be harder than he had thought initially, there were big groups of girls dotted around and he couldn't bear to hear them talking about what size wearing a corset made them, it was just so inane and prattly.

Sighing he wondered where Aquila might be, and if she would even come to the ball, knowing what it had been like last time she had done so, and he hoped that she wouldn't have skipped out, it was another chance to see her in a beautiful dress, so she would look even more radient than she did normally.

With a happy smile, he spotted her over by the food and made a bee line straight for her, with an awkward smile on his lips, they hadn't talked about what had happened at the battle yet, and him being older, and he realised this with a jolt.

"Hello Aquila, you look beautiful tonight, I like your dress, brings out your eyes." he smiled.

Alex walked toward where the ball was going to be held she saw two people already there Alex hummed as she walked inside she had wore a green strapless gown that was very drapy she had curled her hair and she didn't wear a lot of jewelry sighing, Alex walked to the back.

No one really cared for Alex she hummed lightly as she watched the the two people already there, she wondered why she had no one in her life she sighed and closed her eye's.

Keaira walked slowly into the ballroom. She really wasn't on top of things like balls, but she figured she might as well go. Maybe there'd be some action. You never knew, right? So she walked into the room and looked around. Not even a person like she could hate the decoration. It was most beautiful, though slightly too jolly for her. She saw Lucian and Aquila and decided that she should just leave them alone. She didn't really know Aquila anyways, and considering that she'd gone from having no one to having a boyfriend and some friends, she wasn't very crazy to get more.

So she walked over to the other person in the room that she'd come to like slightly; Alexandra.

"Hey," she said monotonously, "Nice dress."

Lucian saw that two other girls had come into the ball and he sent a friendly smile their way, he would go over and talk to Keaira and the other girl later, once he had managed to get the air cleared between him and Aquila, that was the most important thing at the moment.

Blinking at the girls who seemed to be insulting her, Lucian grinned and wrapped an arm around Aquila's waist posessively, showing the girls who clearly knew nothing, that they were very wrong and Aquila was right, nobody wanted girls like that, bitchy and stick thin.

The way that she closed off her emotions made him wince lightly; "Sorry, I'm new to these girl things, I thought that was pretty good for me. You know how hopeless I am. And thank you, I try to look my best, I have to match you after all." he smiled.

Looking around he gestured to the large tea table; "It's nice hm? Odd, but nice."

Raven knew that this ball was going to be a lot less fun than the last one that she attended, why? Because at the last one she had gotten to kill someone, a lot of people actually, and at this one, there was cake and tea, at least there was the hope of alcohol and Konig was being dragged along with her so that was one thing that made her suffering a little easier to bare.

Walking into the hall, her cane tapping on the floor, Raven tipped her top hat to Viktoria, the fellow Professor and then set about looking for people to terrorise, deciding to leave them all be for now, she took a seat at the table, poured some tea, and promptly began to add rum to it, to give it a bit more warmth.

Alex looked next to her and gave Keaira a small nod " Thanks, you dress is pretty too" she said smiling Alex really didn't like the color green but Alex thought this green was pretty she smiled.

" So, I'm guessing I'm the only one without date?" she asked Keaira with a small smile she sighed and looked at Aquila and Lucian.

Ella was feeling very different for once. Her dress was a bright yellow, and sitting at the tea table in the hall she noticed it was basically a one of a kind. That made her smile. Ella-May licked her lips at the food laid out in front of her, all of it look delicious, but she decided to go with some of the chocolate-coated strawberries first. She loved strawberries.

Popping one into her mouth, Ella glanced around to see if anyone she knew at all was here yet. Her eyes spied Lucian, the wall guy (as she'd nicknamed him now), with a really pretty girl who she assumed was his girlfriend. Taking one more strawberry, Ella stood up and made her way over to them, her black boots attracting a lot of attention.

"Hello," she said politely. "You don't mind if I join you, do you? I'm starting to feel lonely with just my food over there." She grinned.

Lucian smiled lightly and brushed a finger across Aquila's cheek when she blushed so brightly when he complimented her, it was so cute, but he wasn't going to pick her up on it in front of other people, she probably would not thank him at all for that, so instead he just pecked her lightly on the cheek and smirked.

"Agree to disagree shall we say?" he chuckled.

Seeing that there was another girl coming over to them, Lucian pouted childishly when Aquila slipped herself out of his grip, but he didn;t mind, it was probably for the best when it came to interacting with other people, he didn't want to hear the famous line 'Get a room' or anything tonight.

With a slight friendly smirk, Lucian noted who the girl was who had come over to him.

"Oh hey it's Ella, the wall girl, nice to see you around. You look nice tonight." he said casually "I like food...but yes it doesn't really provide a lot of conversation."

The Doctor walked into the hall, staring at a pocket watch that he had in his hand. He looked rather puzzled and he was, in fact, very puzzled and quite confused. He'd been working on a project when something happened that hadn't happened in over ten years.

The Doctor lost track of the time.

This was normal for anyone else but not for him. He'd travelled through time enough that he could tell, instinctively, what time it was and, usually, what the date was. But he'd lost track of time for the Ball and had arrived late. By about two minutes and forty three seconds, granted, but still late! He put the watch away and smiled as he approached Vikki,

"Truly a grand tea party my dear!" he greeted her with a grin, "And you are looking beautiful tonight!"

Viktor arrived at the ball dressed in his suit, ready to be rather bored. The only reason he'd showed up at all was because he was a professor and it was kind of expected for him to do so. If he was honest he really wanted Niobe to be here. He'd invited her too but it was up to her if she wanted to come to the ball after all.

As he wandered over to the drinks table he bowed slightly to The Doctor and sketched a bow to Raven, purely to see her tip her top hat to him. The woman sure did love her top hat.

Konig arrived at the ball just behind his brother but neither he nor Viktor attempted any kind of conversation. It was sad, he decided, that the two of them were so distant now but it wasn't really something he could change without imput from Viktor. And his brother seemed inclined to ignore his existance for some reason. Deciding to focus on something else, Konig moved through the crowds to Raven. When he reached her he bowed low and kissed the back of her hand, looking up at her with a half-smirk,

"My lady." he greeted her as he stood up, "You're looking lovely. A mix between deadly and sexy that only you can pull off."

Niobe bit her lip lightly, she knew that she had been invited to the Professor ball by Viktor, but she didn't know how welcome she would be made by the people who were there, she had heard about one of the scary Professors, Raven, and she wasn't really looking forward to seeing her, but she knew Viktor wouldn't let anything bad happen.

Stepping off the boat, and walking inside the school, Niobe bit her lip harder and she patted her hair, that she had done up in ringlets especially for today, with lots of sleekease, it was something that she was very proud of.

Looking in the room where the ball was being held Niobe gasped lightly and she clapped her hands, it looked wonderful, like a sort of mad tea party, and she wondered who had put it on, but then when she saw all the Professors she blushed again and hurried over to Viktor; "Hello there." she smiled nervously.

Alex sighed and stood up " I'll be right back Kearia" She told her and Alex decided to walk away around she sighed and walked around.

Alex didn't see her friend Agne or Ulrich Alex sighed and continued to walk around she wondered what happened to them she sighed sadly and continued to walk around, Alex sighed and she sat back down next to Keaira.

She smiled heartily. "Thank you. You know, I love your hair. I've always wanted curly hair, it looks lovely." She graciously thanked them both and returned the compliments like any one would do; she wasn't even lying, they looked brilliant.

Ella's grin stayed on her face as she saw the two together. They looked really happy. She waved at Lucian. "Yup, it's me. And you're quite right, both of you, I don't think I could be the Queen of Hearts and talk to no one bar myself just for decent conversation."

It had been a long summer and he had not heard from Keaira at all so he was hoping that perhaps he would run into her at the ball. He was actually surprised that they had decided to have one this close to the beginning of the school year but it was not that he had minded it was giving him something to do.

Walking into the hall he looked around and noticed many people and finally his eyes fell upon the most beautiful creature in the room. He walked up beside her and reached for her hand an brought it up to kiss it.

"Hello Kearia, I have missed you this summer. I hope you have had a good one."

Dimitrius crossed his arms, leaning back against a wall. His summer was a tad uneventful, which is how he preferred it after all. With war looming everywhere, a summer with nothing to worry about was just what he needed. He bit at his thumb, thinking about his little sister. He had left Stolz there to protect her, though she did have her cat as well. To be quite honest, he didn't even know why he attended this little shindig for all the Durmstrang students.

The only students that he was friends with didn't go here. No, they went to Hogwarts of course. Just his luck in all reality, but he had no one to blame but himself. He could see teachers and the like mingling around, and other kids his age that were talking he supposed. All he wanted to do was find a quiet spot and draw in his notepad, which was currently tucked on the inside of his suit jacket. Dimitri blew a piece of hair out of his face and stayed put. He didn't need to attract any attention to himself by moving.

Alex looked and saw Terry talking to Kearia she smiled but she felt sad, she continued to look around none of her friends were there, She looked around for Agne she didn't see her nor did she Ulrich Alex blinked and sighed she gave Terry a small smile and she sighed sadly, she got up and walked out of the hall quickly.

She was near running when she all of a sudden tripped over her feet swearing mentally she took her heels off and ran out of the hall she walked toward a wall and slid down the wall and started to cry, she hated that her friends ditched her well they never showed up, Alex cried not caring what she looked like, she had wore waterproof make up just in case, she put her face in he hands as she cried.

Melissa was very sad this year, Casey had up and disappeared on her and left her with nothing. She had promised her she would always be there but it was not to be had.

She had really not wanted to go to the ball, but she knew she would have to move on with her life, maybe she would find someone to talk to. As she was heading into the hall she noticed that Alex was running past her. She not not really talked to her all that much because Alex was always wrapped up in her friends, but she could tell something was wrong so she turned around and headed after her.

"Hay Alex wait up, whats wrong." Melissa had always been a very nice person before maybe she could make a new friend.

Alex looked at Melissa and shook her head " N-Nothing's wrong why w-would something be wrong?" Alex asked between cries she was so upset that her friends didn't show up she began to cry she wished she had never made friends with them considering they all had talked.

" Neither of m-my friends showed up the o-only one that d-did was Kearia" Alex said wiping some of the tears away she began to think that she was better off with hardly any friends Alex sighed and wiped some of the tears away.

Melissa sat on the floor next to Alex, "Well I can tell something is wrong because you are crying." Missy sigh, she knew what is was to feel this way.

"I am really sorry that your friends are that way, I don't have anyone here either." Missy really wanted to break down and cry like Alex but she was trying to stay strong for her.

"How about I stay out here with you and I can be your friend, I am in short supply myself."
