To Poison the World (Open to Dark Characters)

This pub was dark and it was cold, it was unwelcoming from the outside and even more so from the inside when people noticed the people within the pub were as broken, disgusting and filthy as the pub's exterior. All in all it was more than a little bit of a 'fixer upper' in The Master's own words. Chuckling a little bit to himself, he noticed that he levity was gaining some unwanted attention. When someone got up, most likely to try and beat him into getting into the depressing mood, The Master's wand was instantly in his hand,

"Crucio."

The man fell to the ground, screaming in pain as the torture curse was used on him, spasming in pain on the floor of the bar. Laughing at the man's obvious pain, The Master laughed harder still when the rest of the pub, who had been silently supporting the man before, turned away from the sight. Banishing the still twitching man out of the bar, via a window, The Master settled in for a wait. He was here to try and see if there were any aspiring Dark Witches or Wizards who would be suitable for his... enterprise.

Marylin was in one of the rooms above the Sorceress' Poison she had been moving her business around so that she wouldn't be collared again in an effort for someone to get her to come up with a miracle cure for this virus, people were beginning to get desperate...and she had come up against some...unsavoury characters lately.

Biting her lip she drew her emerald cloak over her head, slightly covering her blonde long curls, of course as she had grown Marylin had gotten all the more beautiful. Of course, she was the product of excellent breeding, what else could she do? It was wise for her to cover up now, even if people didn't know who she was.

Moving downstairs she nodded to the barman, who smiled crookedly at her, and produced a bottle of firewhiskey. He wasn't much to be adverse to underage drinking. Sitting down on one of the tables near the window, Marylin sighed lightly, her hood slipping slightly down to expose some of her features.

The Master sighed a little bit. There didn't seem to be any potential recruits in this bar at all. Where were all villians these days? Used to be you couldn't walk down the street without being crucio'd and now none of the weak patrons here could even bare to watch as he did the curse to one of them.

Weaklings the lot of them!

Deciding that he was going to have to be proactive he noticed a woman had entered the bar and was now sat on her own. She was underage, he could feel it in the air around her. The way the bartender, a notorious pervert, smiled at her as he handed her the drink. The way that her walk still held arrogance that was not earnt. The air of someone who hadn't been seriously challenged yet. He crossed the room and placed a hand on top of her table,

"Hello there..." he greeted her with a grin, "Mind if I stop by and have a little chat? It's just you seem to be a step or two above the vermin who otherwise lurk in this pub."

Marylin's eyes shifted slowly up to look at the man who had placed his hand on her table, her heart was in her mouth she was so nervous, he could be one of those people she had been trying to avoid, what if he recognised her from what she had let slip under her hood? But...what if he was just perfectly normal?

Taking in his features, Marylin immediately found herself noting he was sort of handsome, but he also held the air of someone who was dangerous, who wasn't all there. Which did not help to put her at ease with herself not at all. Deciding she had better humour him, she smiled graciously and nodded her head.

"I suppose so, although it depends on what you wish to chat about." she stated in a soft voice, pulling her hood down she smiled dazzlingly at the man, deciding it was better to apply the charm, than to not, and potentially lose a client because of it "If it is something interesting you are more than welcome to sit."

The Master grinned a little bit when she not only allowed him to sit down next to her but also pulled her hood down to try and apply the charm. Of course the charm wasn't going to work on him. She was an attractive woman, to be sure, but he was The Master. He was not going to be swayed by the attractiveness of one underage witch,

"Ah Miss Mason." he grinned to her, "I know a lot about you. Your professors say you have much potential but they worry about how you're socialising. Namely that you seem to be getting in with the wrong sort..."

He chuckled a little bit, shaking his head with a small smirk. It was amazing how easy it was to check the Headmistress's records now that she was grieving,

"I am starting a campaign for office." he told her with a dazzling smile, "The position I am campaigning for doesn't exist yet... I'm toying with the term Overlord. You see Miss Mason... I want to control Magical Britain and dominate Magical Germany. Total control. Total power. There is a part of that power available to you if you were willing to... aid my efforts."

Marylin raised an eyebrow, of course all of her senses started to go off when she heard that the man already knew who she was, after what had happened to her one night, she wasn't about to take any chances and immediately she tensed. If she had told anyone, even Nicholas about what had happened, she was sure that her business would be taken from her by her parents.

"That is none of your business, and it is also quite rude to look me up when you have no permission, and I have had no oppertunity to do the same to you." she stated, quite shocked and offended by the way this man seemed to know about her already.

Hearing about what he wanted to talk to her about, Marylin blinked again and she opened her mouth in shock, how could this guy be talking to her about something like that? She was like...15 for Christs sake! What could he possibly want her to do?

"Why would I want to aid your efforts?" she asked still rather shocked "No offense but I don't even know your name, I don't trust you on any level, and trust is needed if you're going to start banding around offers like that."

The Master quietly chuckled to himself as she took the trouble to act all offended that he had bothered to research her. Honestly he didn't see the problem. The past was the past. And without the Nettle clan time turners it would always stay that way. He raised an eyebrow at her with another chuckle,

"Of course I had no permission, the information was stolen from the Headmistress of Hogwarts." he told her with an amused air, "Awww sorry Miss Mason. Where are my manners? My name is The Master. But you can call me Harold Saxon."

He laughed a little bit at her shocked expression. Oh it was nice to be out of the dome. People here had so many wonderful expressions. Inside the dome it was mainly hunger and anger. He grinned a little bit,

"Because if my efforts were to be successful you would be elevated higher than you've ever dreamed." he told her with a smirk, "As for who I am... I was imprisoned by The Doctor so you won't hear of me unless your research goes back years. But what I am is powerful. I am driven. And I will have what I desire. Follow me and you will have what you desire."

Marylin could see herself having problems with the man in front of her, she hadn't had any of the fire whiskey so she knew it wasnt the firewhiskey messing with her, it really was the raw reactions from being around this guy. Frowning a little bit, Marylin didn't quite know what to say in response to that.

"Right." she stated with a small pause "What makes you think that I'm not now going to go and tell everyone about what you're doing, cause to be honest, you aren't really making this sound appealing to me."

It really did feel like he was patronising her, and that was one thing Marylin wouldn't have, he seemed to think like so many others she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but although that was true, she was far from sheltered, far from lacking that motivation to go into things for herself.

"Listen it's not that I dont appreciate this and everything, but I'm 15 years old, this sounds like a life choice and one that could end me up in prison." she stated seriously, although she had a smile on her lips as she did so "So I don't really think this is sounding worth my while, I don't even know if you're going to be able to do the things tou say, the bad guy always loses dont you know?"

The Master arched an eyebrow and at once his entire demeanour changed. Instantely the entire bar became saturated with dark energy, all of it rolling off of The Master. And every bit of magic packed with a huge amount of killer intent. The very air around the patrons seemed to tell them that The Master could not only kill them but he could do so easily and enjoy every second of it. And all while looking faintly amused,

"Oh you won't do that." he told her with a small smirk, madness gleaming in his eyes, "Because you've looked into my eyes. You know that if you were to do that... I would destroy your world. Tear it down brick by brick. And only then would I kill you."

The atmosphere became friendly and light again almost instantly as The Master grinned at her goofily. Having gone completely 180, The Master laughed a little,

"Oh no! That's the beauty of it!" he told her with a small grin, "It's not a life choice. It's funny but you only need to kill around ten people and both countries will collapse. Surely you and your boyfriend have explored this..."

Marylin instantly felt herself become terrified of the energy that she felt rolling off this guy and she had to do all she could to stop herself literally getting up and running away as fast as she could from here. Never the less, he had her running scared. But...she was thinking the furthest thing from joining up to his little...group now.

"Uh...right." she said, not really knowing what to say after something like that "You know I really don't see this is something that I'm going to be interested in joining up to, because to be honest, you're f*cking scary and I dont trust you not to kill me or something..."

Opening her mouth in shock again and feeling slightly sick, Marylin placed a hand on her forehead, how could he do such a wild turn about from f*cking psychotic to goofy and friendly in like...30 seconds? This guy was seriously messed up.

However, when he mentioned Nicholas, Marylin's eyes narrowed;

"You leave Nicholas out of this." she hissed "If you want someone to help you in future, try not freaking them out by digging into their lives and threatening them next time, maybe you'll have more luck."

Putting her cloak hood back up Marylin wiped under her eyes, just in case a few misted tears had fallen there from her shock, and fear, when he had threatened her.

"Now if that was all. Good day."

The Master smiled a little bit before laughing a little bit when she said that he was fucking scary. He had to admit that she was right. He scared himself after all. And not just some of the time, all of the time! The truth was that he was a fucking scary individual and for some reason he was okay with that,

"Yes but isn't it better to have the fucking scary guy on your side?" he asked her with a little chuckle, "Much less likely to go all Raven-Drake on you. Can't believe that's a term by the way!"

He sighed a little bit and shook his head. Holding a hand up in front of her to bar her exit he smiled a little bit, shaking his head. Gesturing for her to sit back down he sighed a little bit and crossed his arms across his chest. He was silent for a few moments before speaking again,

"You must forgive me, for the past four years my only human interaction has been with murderers and cannibals." He told her, his madness receeding, "The truth of the matter is that you're correct. You have no way of trusting me. No reason to trust me. Give me a task to prove to you that I am worth your trust, and perhaps your help. Anything other than your obvious first request; go away. I'll do that once you tell me the task."

Marylin shook her head and pulled her hood further up to cover her face, she really didnt want to stay longer than she had to with this man, the truth was she was scared of what he was going to do to her now that she knew who he was and what he was planning. Would he hurt her if she didn't join up to his cause...probably.

"No, it's better not to be anywhere near the scary guy." she stated simply "Because you never know what he's going to do, and if sides really matter to him in the end, as long as he gets what he wants. Is that who you are, Mr. Saxon?" Marylin asked, her voice husky from her upset.

Reluctantly she sat back down, but didn't make herself comfortable or draw her hood away just yet, it was like a comfort blanket and she didn;t want to take it off for anything, not yet. Hearing who he had been talking with lately, Marylin almost blanched, was this guy a murderer and a cannibal too then?

"I don't know what to say...I'm so confused about all of this." she whispered, telling him honestly what she felt "How am I supposed to pick something like that? I have no idea of a task that you could to do show me something like that! Do you honestly believe after what you did before that I can ever trust you?"

Of course she was referring to that dark energy, the energy that had promised her and her loved ones death if she even dared to open her mouth to someone else about this.
