The Visit (Charm and Al) Empty The Visit (Charm and Al)

Post by Alonzo Ollivander Sat Mar 24, 2012 11:21 pm

Alonzo was carving some new wand combinations. They'd just gotten more wand woods and cores in, and so he was making best use of the empty hours between closing time and dinner to carve a few.

After about an hour, he finally managed to wrestle the spruce and dragon heartstring into a somewhat-discernible wand. He still had a lot of work to do, but however frustrating this wand was to make, he was going to make it to good, fine-quality standards, like every other wand before it.

Setting the half-finished wand down on the red-velvet cushion, Alonzo sighed, stood and moved to the back storeroom, pulling down about ten boxes with wands in them. He wanted to study these particular ten. They'd been sent over from an archaeological site and he had been assigned the interesting task of discerning whom they had belonged to.

Just as he was taking them back to his workroom, he ran into a tall, lean, curvaceous person standing in the doorway.

The Visit (Charm and Al) Empty Re: The Visit (Charm and Al)

Charmin was bored and in need of visiting someone whom she was beginning to consider a friend. It was un-usual and foreign for her to continuously see a male without any other interactions between them, so she was quite confused. She hadn't had a friend in a very long time, and she felt that perhaps she deserved one.

Charmin was seated in her private library, a book open on the table in front of her. It held many facts about the Ollivander's, and she delved through her human memories as much as she could until she remembered him mentioning a family wand business. It hadn't been all that popular back then, but they were talking about re-locating to England. He'd never been all that interested in the business, so it was most likely why he hadn't mentioned in before.

She shut the book and stood up, ready to go visit Alonzo and see what he was up to. She smirked, for she still couldn't believe her luck at finding the descendant of her loved one. He held many striking features that reminded her of him, and she almost laughed. Such luck, indeed. She moved through her house before twisting and apparating to Diagon Alley.

She crossed the street, entered the store and spied Alonzo through a doorway. He seemed quite busy with what he was doing, so Charmin went and leant against the doorway. She flung her arms out and stopped him by the shoulders before he could run into her, and she grinned.

Alonzo grinned when he saw who it was who had stopped him. "Charmin!" he cried. Al fumbled with the pile of wands and set them back in the store room, turning around to give her a hug. "How have you been? What brings you here?"

He didn't know why she'd sought him out, but he didn't really care. She was a beautiful woman and she was more than a match for him any day. Fascinating company, Charmin was.
