Frustration (Alonzo & Charm) Empty Frustration (Alonzo & Charm)

Post by Charmin Rolans Sat Feb 25, 2012 10:51 pm

Charmin, after her outrage with Vierdos, had continued on running after where she could smell his scent. However, she had taught him well and eventually his scent had faded where he had hidden it. She stomped her foot against the ground and smirked at the crunching sound. She flicked her curly brown hair over her shoulder and leant down to retrieve her wand from her boot, and once she had it out she twirled and apparated into the midst of Wizarding London.

Once she had arrived, Charmin sucked in a deep breath and stilled herself from attacking several blood filled wizards and witches surrounding her. Much to the vampire witches annoyance, Vierdos' scent was not among them. She decided she would wait until after he had met with Jaqui - if he found her - to punish him. Then she would find the girl and punish her.

Charmin moved throughout London to a little pub called 'The Leaky Cauldron' and once she stepped inside she ignored the bulging eyes of several men. She was proud of her beauty, and as she let her coat fall open to reveal her skin-tight, vivid red dress with black swirls on it she moved to the bar and took a seat. She did not enjoy many alcoholic drinks, so when the barman came over she waved him away. She merely wished to sit and sulk. The smells of the bar and the happiness around her helped to relax her, and soon she began eyeing the men for her next... pleasurer.

Alonzo pushed open the door to the Leaky Cauldron and stepped inside, out of the chilly night air. He wondered if they sold ice cream as good as the stuff at Florean's... he doubted they sold ice ream at all. Taking a seat at the bar, he ordered a small glass of firewhisky. It had been a long and boring day at the Wand shop today; not busy at all. He sipped at the fiery liquid, letting it simmer down his throat like a massage.

Alonzo wasn't a big fan of alcohol, but he didn't mind a drink or two now and then. Firewhisky had been his favourite for a long time now, and it was mainly the only beverage he ever drank. Thoughts crossed Alonzo's mind about meeting people, but then he was feeling very lazy and un-objectified. He decided to play a little social experiment. Glancing at his watch, he started timing how long it would take for someone to approach him.

Charmin, despite her better judgement, decided she would make an attempt to look normal, so she ordered a firewhisky and downed it in one go. It tasted horrible and icky, and it made her want to claw at her throat to rid herself of it as it burned its way down to her stomach. Finally, after several minutes of keeping her features in a mask of calm, she sighed as the disgusting feeling disappeared.

Charmin continued to casually search over the many male faces. Most were too old, too ugly, to gross looking. One was alright, but his hooked nose put her off. She was in a picky mood tonight, and she wanted a really hottie. She sighed, and just as she felt she would not be able to take out her frustrations sexually that night Mr. Perfect walked in and took a seat at the bar. She studied him carefully, and smirked. She had not seen such a handsome man since her fiancée. In fact, he reminded her of him, but it had been a century so no pain came with this thought.

She stood up and decided to be bold. She folded her arms underneath her chest, effectively pushing her breasts up so that they looked fuller and more attractive to men. She took a seat beside him and looked up at him through her thick lashes, her black eyes changing to warm brown as she smiled seductively at him. "What's Mr. Handsome doing sitting here alone?"

A cute, dark-haired woman sat down beside Alonzo just as the second hand reached the twelve for the third time. "Three minutes," Alonzo exclaimed, setting his third firewhisky glass down a little less carefully. He leaned back and grinned at the woman. "Ahh, just drinking a bit. You know, conducting a bit of a social experiment." He said it with such a casual air, like everyone did this on their spare nights.

Leaning back, he decided against the temptation of another firewhisky. Alonzo noticed his companion was really quite attractive. He also noticed she was wearing a skimpy red and black dress and seemed to be hugging herself. He wasn't dumb, and knew she was trying to seduce him, but wanted to add an extra part to his experiment. How long would she stay? "Are you cold, darling?" he asked, taking off his nice brown coat and wrapping it over her thin shoulders.

Alonzo flashed her a charming smile. "May I ask your name, miss?"

Frustration (Alonzo & Charm) Empty Re: Frustration (Alonzo & Charm)

Post by Charmin Rolans Sat Feb 25, 2012 11:33 pm

Charmin raised a delicate eyebrow at his proclamation of '3 minutes', wondering what on earth he was on about. With a roll of her eyes, Charmin let her arms drop and instead rested them on the counter. Now that she closer she could see how handsome he truly was, and though it annoyed her to admit it, he was far handsomer than her fiancée. Which was quite a conquest, she might add.

"Isn't that what everyone else here is doing? My, my, I didn't think such a handsome man would be sitting here all alone." Charmin almost purred at this, a handsome man who was alone was perfect.

Charmin could see the challenge in his eyes, feel it in the air. She didn't think it was a challenge towards her, but it did involve her. She was curious now, and oh how Charmin loathed to be curious. Curiosity meant not knowing something, and this was something that Charmin simply could not stand. When he asked her name, Charmin smiled and twirled a lock of her hair around her finger. She couldn't help but think his question was ironic, for vampires did not feel the cold, however he could not know she was a vampire.

"We'll see." Was all she said. She never gave her name until she deemed it earned.

She gave him a weird expression when he proclaimed the time it had taken, as Alonzo expected she would. He watched her study his face, and decided to give her a once over. In the end, he evaluated she certainly looked the part. A sight for sore eyes indeed.

Alonzo smirked at her evasiveness. "Yes, I'm sure we shall see. Can I get you a drink, or are you not a fan?" he offered, as was the polite thing to do in company. He was feeling the urge to get a fourth firewhisky, but maybe a water would be better before he set off on the next round. Alonzo decided that would be the logical thing to do and ordered a normal-sized glass of pure, fresh water.

"Are you from out of town?" He questioned, trying to start up some sort of stimulating conversation between them. If she was evasive with her name as she was with her location, Alonzo was definitely not expecting an answer.

Charmin watched as he gave her a once over and seemed satisfied with her appearance. This pleased her, and was lucky for him for if he had not shown such emotion she would have walked away then and there. A man who could not appreciate her beauty was not worth her time, she reasoned with herself. Charmin wrinkled her nose at the mention of a drink and gave her head a short shake. She didn't want to suffer that again.

"I'd rather not. I come for other reasons that to drink." Charmin spoke in her seductive tone with a sly smile that was verging on a smirk.

Charmin watched with approval as he drunk water, for it was the only human drink that she could stand. She ate and appreciated many human foods, but the drink was not so lucky. She also drunk from a glass of water, relieved to at least appear semi-normal. Men tended to avoid women if they discovered that they were a vampire. At his question, Charmin decided to humor him with some not-so-evasive answers.

"Germany. Berlin, to be exact. And you, are you from here or?" She was not involved in the war, and she hoped he did not care for it either.

Alonzo waved his hand dismissively. "Of course you do," he said teasingly. She had a funny way of half-smiling and it amused him greatly. He smiled at her and winked before taking another sip of water.

He was surprised when she stated her German origins. Alonzo had never been much of a fighter, always more peaceful than the next guy, so the war never meant much to him. Except fighting wands were in constant and steady demand recently.

He shrugged. "Yes, I am actually. I work right on this street," he hinted, insinuating his position in the family business. "What brings a pretty German lady all the way over the Channel?" Now they were definitely flirting. It was a great way to unwind, Alonzo concluded.

Charmin found herself relaxing around him, which was rare. Most of the time she was tense and constantly on full seductive mode, however with Mr. Handsome she was only flirting. She sipped from her water again, imaging that it were fresh blood. It didn't work too well, but it was worth a try.

A relieved smile sprawled across her features as he seemed not to care about her being from Germany, though she could remember originally being from Italy. She smiled at thoughts of Italy and the beauty of that country. She wished to move back there one day, but alas she was too busy to do so right now. Perhaps, in another decade or another century, even.

"Oh, really?" She asked in a curious tone, shifting in her position on her barstool so she was leaning towards him more, her chest sticking out slightly. "What do you work as?" She continued. Smirking, Charmin enjoyed their flirting. She had not been in male company for weeks - other than Vierdos - and it had been sorely missed. "Ah, a little bit of this and a little bit of that. You never answered my question as to why a handsome fellow such as yourself is alone, hmm?" Charmin tilted her head.

"Yes, really," Alonzo replied slyly. Mimicking her, he also leaned forwards a bit, so he could just feel her breath on his face. "I have a craft, a trade if you will. But you'll have to guess the rest." He liked this game. This game was humorous.

He smirked again. "Social experiment." There, he answered her very first question.

Charmin smirked as he also leant into her, his scent washing over her body. It was musky, wood-like, different. She quite liked it, and to make sure he knew this she licked her lips and leant in a tad closer. "Ooh, a guessing game, I love those," Charmin purred, tapping her fingers against the bar as she thought. "A craft, you say. It's either broomsticks, or wandlore." Charmin quickly supplied, wondering which it was.

Charmin laughed softly, her breath blowing into his face as she did so. "Social experiment, you say? Interesting." Charmin finally decided to indulge him in her name, and she smirked. "Charmin." Was all she said.

She leant in even further and licked her lips. Alonzo smiled. "You're good at this game. It's wandlore," he told her. Alonzo finished the last drops of water from his glass and looked at his watch. They'd been there for nearly 15 minutes.

Half smiling, he admired her name. "Charmin... what a charming name." Staring her right in her dark eyes, he told her his name as well. "Alonzo. It's a pleasure to meet you... Charmin."

Charmin chuckled softly at him. Oh, how good she was indeed at any games, including the one he was apart of that he knew not of. With an innocent look, she smiled at him and tilted her head slightly. "You think so?" She purred, trailing her pointer finger over the bar, resisting the urge to smirk. She was always extremely pleased when she guessed right.

She studied him carefully as she thought back to standing in the street. Wandlore was an interesting profession, and it seemed that only the mysterious worked in that profession. Charmin liked mystery. As she mentally scanned her image of the street, the only Wand shop she had seen was 'Ollivanders'. She watched him look to his watch, and she wondered if he had tired of their conversation.

Charmin rolled her eyes at his play on words, but as he spoke his name her tongue darted out to wet her lips again. A smile tilted the corners of her mouth upwards. "Thank you, Alonzo. And I, you." Charmin returned, her hand resting daintily on his arm for a moment before she returned it to the bar.

Alonzo watched her hand as it lingered on his arm, before she moved it away again. She was an intriguing catch, this one. "Do you have a wand?" he asked, curious as to how much he could learn about her just from examining her wand.

There was slight craving in the back of his mind; he was thirsty. Ordering another firewhisky, he decided to savour this one. Alonzo knew it would be his last drink for the night - after all, getting drunk was not on his to do list.

Charmin nodded her head once in response to his question, and as if to prove it she beant down and reached her hand down to her boot. There, she grabbed the handle of her wand and pulled it out of her boot, placing it on the bar in front of them for his examination. She was glad that she were a witch as well as a vampire, for otherwise his suspicion would be aroused as to why a non-witch could be in such a place.

She really did not want to scare him off, she hadn't been indulged in flirting with another man for a few weeks now, and she was beginning to be annoyed by this fact. "Dragon heartstring." She mumbled, waving her hand over her wand, though she was sure with a quick examination Alonzo may have been able to tell this.

Charmin was often a tad grateful to the vampire that bit her, for though he took away the life she had he gave her a new one that was full of different opportunities. It was a strange thought to her, but she had become this person because of one fateful event. If it were not for that bite, she may have remained a sweet, love-struck fool and ended up with children. Charmin's motherly instincts made her sad that she did not have any children of her own, but she dismissed this as she watched him drink firewhisky.

"Do you like the taste of it?"

Alonzo picked up the wand, and immediately felt the core without her telling him. "Yew, huh? Interesting. And Dragon Hearstring... very interesting combination. This isn't Ollivander craftsmanship though," he said falling into his analytic wandmaker self. He caught himself before he fell too far, though, placing the wand back on the bar.

It was interesting to see a Yew wand had chosen his female companion. Generally they liked to pair up with fighters, those who were independent and capable people. He could have already guessed Charmin's wand wood by now, but her personality seemed to fit the bill for a few. Yew had not been at the top though. Paired with dragon heartsring, this wand could prove lethal without warning. She must have excellent control over her magic, he decided.

Alonzo was surprised when Charmin asked if he liked the taste of Firewhisky. "Yes, actually. It's my favourite," he told her. "Why? Do you not like it?"

Post by Charmin Rolans Sun Feb 26, 2012 9:59 pm

Charmin smirked, not in the slightest bit impressed though many others would be. Ever since she had been a little girl she had been involved in wandlore, her father being associated in the business. She had taken their knowledge for granted, and so she did not appreciate the complexity and hardship involved in their career. Not that she would have cared even if she did know.

"Of course it isn't, im not British am I? Its from somewhere in Italy, though the details are vague to me." Charmin didn't inform him as to why these memories were hard to retrieve, but it was merely because it was over a century ago and she did not care to remember back to when she were just a young, naïve little girl who believed the best of everybody and was so proud of her family for the greatness they had achieved.

Charmin could see the thoughts swirling in his eyes as he regarded her wand, and she wondered what he was thinking of. She knew that the different woods and cores featured in wands would reflect the person and suit them the most. It was why the wand chose the wizard, she presumed, for a witch or wizard would always choose what they wanted to excel at, not what the might actually. The human species was like that.

"I am rather... particular about what I drink." The briefest of smirks graced her lips as she thought of blood rushing down her throat, but it was gone within the blink of an eye.

"Somewhere in Italy, huh? Wands haven't been made there for almost fifty years now. Every wand there is imported. Mind you..." Alonzo deftly picked up the wand, "This one's pretty old." He raised an eyebrow at her. Most wands of yew lived to be 150 years, at the least, so it was no surprise. "Did you inherit it?"

She smirked. Alonzo found it fascinating. "What kind of things do you drink then?" he queried, honestly interested in this woman.

Charmin was glad that she had had over a century of practising controlling her emotions and being a quick liar, for many amateurs would have failed with his words. Though her insides churned with panic, her outer exterior took on a lazy smile and waved her hand in a vague motion. "Yes, I inherited it. It was out of my and my 3 sisters and brothers, but the wand didn't like them at all so it became mine." Charmin spoke in a dull tone, as if this were boring information.

Her quick mind summoned fact files on her fake siblings, for Charmin had never had any siblings. She was always prepared with a load of information when she made a lie, and right now she had many fake tales in mind that she could tell him if he asked about one of her siblings.

Charmin again became flustered within, yet as usual she looked calm on the outside. She smiled softly at Alonzo and ran through a list of drinks that she didn't mind. "Oh, you know, juice, butterbeer, water, that sort of thing. Though I don't mind some muggle alcohol." She added to make it more convincing.

Alonzo smiled. He didn't have any brothers or sisters of his own, but plenty of cousins. "That's one big family. Seven kids, imagine that!" He paused, wondering whether she was fibbing. "Tell me about them," he requested, pushing upon her a test to see of they were real or not. He had a sneaking suspicion she may not be telling whole truths.

Though Charmin's voice was steady and clear as she told him her preferred beverages, her eyes had gotten somewhat panicked. Her pupils were dilated and occasionally they would flick nervously about. Leaning forward intimately, Alonzo breathed out a question. "What are you hiding?"

With their profiles ready in mind, Charmin smiled casually and acted as if she truly adored her sisters and she adopted a dreamy-happy look on her face. She could tell that he was testing her, and Charmin had never, ever failed a test, whether mental or physical. Nor did she plan on failing one anytime soon. "Really? You want to know all about each and everyone of them?" She asked with a tilted head. "Well, theres's Elle, Jasamina, Souki, Mason, Caleb and Liam." Charmin said.

Charmin went to continue and give a few details about her "siblings", but he had leant in towards her in a very intimate way, and she lost her train of thought. This surprised Charmin, for never had she been quite so affected by a mans presence. Not since she had been a weak human. His breath tickled her face, and her eyes slid shut as the black in them began to show a bit. Making sure they had returned to warm brown, she opened her eyes again and smirked.

"What makes you think im hiding something?"

Alonzo racked his brains. He wanted to know where this niggling feeling was coming from, but he couldn't quite pin-point it... Somehow, Charmin felt like a familiar stranger. "I feel like I've seen you before. Ages ago, like when I was a small child, but ... that's practically impossible." He observed her with interest. She was one difficult puzzle to solve.

Charmin almost laughed, for it was actually quite possible. For him to have seen her as a child, however, was not. The feeling between them was mutual, and she tilted her head as his intoxicating scent brought a wave of familiarity. She knew that scent, she had adored it and cherished it for many years. "Hmm, and I feel as if I have seen you before." Charmin's tone held annoyance, she hated not knowing things.

A thought struck her, and it made her wildly angry yet curious to even think of it. Dare she ask? Charmin mentally scoffed, for she always did whatever she pleased. "Whats your last name, Alonzo?"

He grinned. It certainly was disorienting as a feeling. Alonzo watched as waves seemed to crash and swirl in her brown eyes, like some sort of internal tidal wave of emotion.

Confused, he wondered why his last name was so important. "Ollivander. Why, Charmin?"

The world slowed a bit as he spoke the last name. It wasn't just any last name, it meant something to her. But, it didn't make sense. How could he have continued to produce heirs without her? The answer was obvious, and for the second time in her life Charmin's heart broke. However, this time she was stronger and did not weep, rather pushed the pieces back together and regarded Alonzo with a frown.

"Ollivander? It can't be." She murmured, knowing she would need to do some research on the 'Ollivander's and find out if indeed it was her ex-fiancée that founded the business and created many children that ultimately led to Alonzo. "Why? I can't tell you here." Her eyes darted around.
