A new meeting (Creatures ONLY)

Benedict walked into the clearing of the Lunar Trap. He took out his wand and waved it, putting up shields that would only allow creatures to pass through. He had also put up another shielding charm further away that would alert him should anyone cross it, be it creature or human. There would be no repetition of last time. He had found out how the woman had been able to go through the shields, as he had slipped a part of the forest, but now he had been thoroughly thorough. So there was no way anyone but creatures could pass through here.

He looked head on. The battles that had been going on in Hogsmeade just before the schoolyear ended at Hogwarts and Durmstrang was completely unacceptable, and he needed to do something. The pain of seeing many people dead, covered by bricks, had set a new goal in Benedict's mind. He was still not warring, but he had been forced to act now. He would act. There was nothing else to do. A meeting with the minister of each country would be a start, but they'd need basis. They needed to walk around where normal humans were. They needed to prove to humans that they were just the same, and that they had the same thoughts and ideas as them. The only real difference was that the centaurs were ten times as smart, and the vampires and werewolves, and most other creatures were more driven by instinct, but this was also a decision one would make themselves. He looked up as the first creatures gathered.

Charlie had heard tell of the new meeting of the creatures, she had decided like with the other meetings that she had attended that she would go, and see if there was anything that she could do to help, there had been the article published in the Daily Prophet about Vampires that she had helped to write with Marcus, but she didn;t know if this had been recieved by the other creatures or not.

Walking into the circle she felt the presence of only one other person, and she knew who that would be, coming into the meeting area, she saw that Benedict was there, and she nodded respectfully to him, and waited for the meeting to start properly.

There had been more than a little bit of a shock for Lucian the last time that he had been at this meeting, however, now that he had his sister coming with him he felt like he would be able to act within a more relaxing setting, now that he was not on his own so to speak.

Raziel had been through another rough time and he was all for going and crushing the guys skull in when she had told him what had happened, and he was onld being kept at bay through the guilt that he had felt last time he had done such a thing, and the fact that Raziel told him that he shouldn't waste his energy.

To which he agreed.

Walking into the clearing he saw that she had not yet arrived and he waited patiently for her, nodding at the other creatures who were there.

Raziel sensed that her brother was present and she had a feeling that he was probably going to be a little nervous, knowing what had gone on at the last meeting, that was why she had taken the night off of work and was now trying to make him feel more secure by appearing at this meeting.

She had not been to the last one simply because she was busy with her work, sighing a little she stepped through the forest, having learnt from last time she now wears her timberland boots, and shorts, so that they wouldn't get ruined, like her other outfit had last time.

Walking into the circle, Raziel smiled at her brother and came to stand next to him, nodding at the other creatures.

Daciana awakened and noticed that the creatures were again meeting in the clearing. She had knowledge of the attacks on the humans and the deaths, and while she didn't really care for humans she realized that when a real war started, the creatures would also be killed, and captured, tortured or worse. She had seen it before. So many times, humans/muggles had glimpsed her fellow creatures and hunted them, killing just for sport. Stealthily, she went through the tree tops to the site of the meeting to see where the rest of them stood. There were only three or four there now, and no sign of the human woman who had come last time. In her heart she hoped that she wouldn't show up. Getting comfortable she closed her eyes and listened to the voices as they met.

Nobelio soared through the air. He had lived for centuries, and yet, he had never been a part of a group of creatures that tried to stop the fighting. He landed gracefully, but he was sure those beings that lived underground would feel his presence. He sat down and crossed his forelimbs. While he still towered over most, he wasn't over four feet taller, now it was more like a foot or so. He folded his wings.

With his glowing green eyes, he scanned the group that had gathered. Seeing many creatures there, he smiled inwardly. Nobelio hoped that they could bring peace, no matter how fragile.

Zara had heard about another creature meeting. She had to sneak out of Hogwarts to get there. It was risky, but she had to. She didn't want to miss it.

Managing to make it out of school, she walked through the trees to the Lunar Trap. On arrival, she saw Benedict and a few other creatures.

She smiled as she walked towards Benedict. "I made it. Yes, I was almost caught by a Hogwarts professor. But I made it." she told Benedict.

Alianna had received the notice for another meeting of the creatures so she went along because it was her duty as a creature to be there. She was tried of all the fighting and it was getting to close to her daughter and she wanted to protect them.

Walking into the clearing she found a spot by a tree and stood there waiting for everyone else to arrive. Generally she just listens to what is being said, she just doesn't like to fight and she wants to leave in peace and if Benedict can achieve that with her help then she would do what she can.

Cain trotted into the glade where they normally held the creature meetings, he was more than a little surprised to see the shadow of the dragons looming ahead and wondered how he had managed to get here without being seen, deciding that was no the problem, and to honour the most aged being here, Cain stopped as he got to the clearing.

Bowing respectfully at the dragon he then turned to the rest of the group, last time he was here that vampire had attempted to look at Faia in a way that he did not appreciate, so, he had advised Ipolani and Faia to stay behind with the heard, whether they would is a completely different matter.

It was with her head bowed and her steps sluggish that Ipolani moved through the forest towards the creature's meeting, Faia trailing behind her quietly. The sadness within Ipolani was brought on by a sense of loss, as a little foal she had been caring for after finding it abandoned had died. Its final cry had broken the centaur's heart, and she now could only think of loosing her darling Faia. Her hooves crushed the earth and plodded along loudly, though she did not care if anyone came for her, to busy feeling depressed. She had finally reached the clearing where the meeting was to be held, and she stepped out into the light.

She sighed as she looked around, but she stuck close to the tree's and remained where she was, barely out of them. Faia made a move to bound over to Cain with excitement, but Ipolani stuck out her arm and hissed, "Stay behind me!" to her daughter, who pouted but did as she was told. Ipolani then waited with impatience for the meeting to begin. She remembered Cain telling her to stay behind, but who was she to listen when she was in such a foul mood? She was interested to see how the meeting would go. Her anger against witches, wizards, and humans alike was building with the crimes they committed against the mare and the foal, whom she had tried to nurse back to health but failed. And those darned muggles were polluting her world.

That scent hit her nostrils once more, the one that followed the filly-centaur that seemed to have two protector centaur's. It was delightful, but she wasn't hungry so she ignored it and continued into the clearing. She frowned at all around, and her nose wrinkled in disgust at dragons. Charmin hated dragons, she really did. They were weird, annoying, and were seen as high and mighty by everyone else. She shook her head and looked over to the tree's, spying the female protector of the little filly. She winked at the centaur, before her attention returned to Benedict and she tapped her foot against the earth with her arms crossed impatiently.

Nobelio looked up as a family of centaurs entered the clearing. He nodded hid head as the male bowed respectively, even if Nobelio didn't like being the center of attention in a group. He looked over to the vampire that the male had looked at untrustingly. Her nose wrinkled in disgust at something.

He silently looked over each creature that had gathered, vampires, centaurs, a succubus, even a young elf. He looked back at the family of centaurs. The female was holding her daughter on the other side of the vampire. He could sense the tension.

Deciding that they would behave civilly, he lowered his head and went into a light meditation.

Benedict looked on as the creatures gathered. He smiled as Zara walked up to him. He found that he had grown a bit protective of her during these meetings. But he didn't fail to notice the magnificent dragon landing near them. He gave a nod, but he knew a lot about dragons, and those who didn't come roaring in, demanding attention, were usually the ones whose minds were strong and fierce, but did not want to be seen as superior, even if they were one of the ancient ones.

He didn't fail to notice the exchange between the Centaur and the Vampire, and his gaze drifted to the foal. He narrowed his eyes at the Vampire, pretty annoyed that she couldn't leave her primitive ways behind when in these meetings. They were all allies, and Benedict would be doomed if a Vampire got to destroy that. He was also glad to see a new face, an elf by the look of it. He gave her a nod as well and then figured it was time to start the meeting.

"Everyone," he said, though not very happy at the lack of creatures, "I know that what happened last time was not something that gave me your trust. I beg your pardon for so. I have talked to the woman, Helga Zimmermann, and she is not a threat. She is the head of the German creature department, and I went to visit her. She knows more creatures than you know. Actually, I think she could help us in our cause. I have also been asked by the British head of the creature department to come and watch one of our meetings, but I have said that this is not to be before we know where we stand. I think this meeting will be a relatively short one. I need your opinion on these matters; shall we let the two heads see what we are doing in the future, or is it too early to think of yet?" he asked them.

Kali was next to through she maybe blind she near the foal and well she can be unpredictable at time when it came to other creature. If someone stand behind her watch out because she going to kick her back feet up but all the same she watch over the young through she could not see all the same. She did not mean to be late but it hard to find the meeting place when one fellow creatures was blind. She came quietly she listen what else could she do anyway. She live hard life and well she was also albino many people and fellow creature had to do double take when it came to her.

She look over at the dragon and she just seemed senses it or what could one say the two talk her and dragon talk. She just listen to the words silently what would they would be saying she look back over the group she was just listening she travel all over she grew and evolve one had to if one to survived they had to evolved if one is survived they had to developed way to deal with things.

She could hear foot step she was quiet watching and listening. Would there be fight she could hear the creatures talking and she was silent she listen to them talk that she rather quiet that is. She heard the words being exchanged that is. She stood silently listening to the group silently. Most thought she was beautiful but still that beauty came with price that is and that she could not see the beauty she had or whatever the others saw.

Ever sighed as she walked toward the meeting, she had not meant to be late but she got lost a couple of times and went in a complete circle, sighing she mentally beat herself the meeting had started she walked into the meeting and stayed in a dark place but she knew they would see her and her bright red hair.

Sighing, Eve listened to him and shrugged inwardly, let two heads from both ministries come to their meetings? Eve shook her head inwardly and knew that one of them would probably tell their minister their plans she didn't know what to think so she decided she'd let everyone have their say before she did.

Tamara was slightly annoyed. They had switched location, so she had to change to her human body to get to the meeting. She liked being human, but she had been human so much now that she wanted to be a mermaid again. She loved the feeling of the water. When she got closer, she noticed how barriers and all sorts of magic was keeping humans out. She smirked. No repeats of last time then? Good.

She walked further in and saw a woman standing there with flowing red hair. "Not joining the circle?" Tamara asked her, but didn't wait for an answer before she walked over to the rest of them, giving a nod to Benedict and a casual wave to Lucian.

"I don't want the humans here. Or, maybe it would be good to consult with them to get them to give the world our message, but I don't want them listening in on our plans. That is suicide. One cannot trust humans," she said coolly, and then leaned against a tree, waiting for the rest to speak their opinions.

Startled when a dragon entered the clearing Daciana sat up immediately and began taking more notice of who was there. It was clear that something important was going on, more than she had realized the last time. the one leading the meeting seemed to be trying his best to ease what tension there was between a vampire and a centaur family. Daciana herself thought what a meal the foal would make, but as she had recently fed it was just a fleeting thought. As she listened she learned that the decision that was at hand was if they should join in the war that the human/wizards had started. While she hated muggle humans, wizards had, for the most part, treated her with the respect that she wanted. Deciding it was time to make her presence known, she glided down into the clearing, landing near the dragon, but far enough away that if she needed to leave quickly she could. It was a daring move on her part and she was almost afraid to do more than just land and sit quietly.

Eve looked at the mermaid and clentched her teeth, Eve knew a lot of creatures didn't like her she had no idea why but she sighed and followed the mermaid she leaned up against a rock and sighed.

' I can't believe I'm going to say this' she thought she sighed and looked at them " I agree with her we can consult with them and let them give the world our message but... Letting them in our plans is suicide and I honestly don't want humans here either and I don't trust them at all" Eve said casually she really hated the humans and she didn't want them to know there plans or anything, Eve swallowed a sigh and waited for every one else to speak.

Kaliepos did not hold opinion with Evermore she just did not know her enough. Then there was talk of minster coming to meeting she was not too sure what to think that is she was rather quiet listening to what was going on. She knew human could be dangerous all the same. But she had wander though they had others war in past but they where muggle war.

How could they sink so low? They being liked those non magical folks did they have sink so low. Sure they might speak the same thing but in some aspect there both the same.But as for hate she did not harbor hate for Evermore she just did not know the women that is.

She ponder this what a muggle used to say in past that she heard quote freedom of speech and to get that is. Why where they so suspected of creature this made her wonder they where not declaring war. She puzzle over some fact but she watch them she was rather quiet. She was not going to go to make some cosmic speech all the same she had wonder what they would be doing.Then she look around where each voice came from stating there opinion on such thing about human coming to meeting area but her other hand she was quiet.

Nobelio listened as Benedict told the group of the current situation. Thinking about the issue of trusting the humans to let them in on these meetings, Nobelio thought back to all the alliances and treaties he had seen in the many centuries he had walked this Earth. They all had one thing that either tore them apart or made them stronger: trust.

He watched as a few other creatures assembled. He recognized the blind centaur from his earlier encounter with her in the woods. He listened as the newest spoke their opinion. He decided to speak up.

"But one can still have an alliance if both sides agree to respect each other's boundaries. I say that we work to maintain close alliances, perhaps even friendships, with the two factions. When we feel we have gained their trust, we can ask if they are comfortable with us keeping some things to ourselves and sharing others. We don't bother them, and they won't bother us," Nobelio explained, hoping he hadn't made his plan too complex for even him to follow.

Zara completely agreed with the fact that the creatures weren't very keen on humans listening in on our meetings.

"Benedict, I'm going to have to agree with everyone. Even I don't trust some humans. I've lived among humans my whole life and I've seen what most people are like and I really can't trust many people these days. To be honest, I'd actually feel rather uncomfortable and a little restricted form sharing my thoughts if they were here," she explained, with a strong, clear voice.

Daciana was beginning to realize she was not the only one here that distrusted the human population. I gave her a little more courage to put out her opinion. Slowly she rose to her feet and began to speak,

"I to have a strong dislike for the muggle/humans as they killed my mother in front of me. what is the difference if we kill them or they kill each other. I think the world would be better if it was just the magical population and we the creatures who should rightly rule. I am in favor of staying out of the fight for now and just let them have at it. I have yet to meet a human who was actually trustworthy or even kind to our sort."

With that she flew again to a branch above the group where she could see all those assembled and watch their reactions to having a harpy (usually unwelcome) in their midst.

Alianna was having a lot of difficulty deciding what she wanted. Granted the humans took a lot from her, but her children were still half human whether or not that was ok.

"I believe we must always be cautious of them, some of them can be trusted and many of them cannot."

Alianna did not know who they could trust and she had been hanging out a lot at the school.

Charlie hummed a little and she shook her head, she did not think that bringing the humans into this would be a wise idea, purely because when one involved politics it always became unorganised and there was a struggle for power, even when there were people trying to stop that from happening.

"I must agree with the rest of the group, humans although they may gain a better understanding of us, may seek to gain some of our members in order to aid their side of the war, and this is not what our effort is about, or as I have come to understand it."

With a slight smile Charlie ran a hand through her hair; "Perhaps if you see fit, you should report to the humans yourself the results of our meetings, but many people need to keep their identity secret, things can get out even from the tightest locks...and their covers would be ruined."
